"I take this product along with my calcium/magnesium/D3 products for bone health. More and more health experts are recommending the inclusion of Vitamin K (particularly K2) for bone health. These are tiny gelcaps and are no problem to swallow. I had not seen other formulations that included all three forms of Vitamin K."

"The cost of this is good but I would prefer no Vitamin K1. The dosage of MK4 is extremely low and MK4 needs to be taken 3 times a day for best results. MK4 dosage is usually at least 5 mg and up to 15mg three times a day. The dosage of MK7 is sufficient. I recommend Thorne Research MK4. Each drop of this liquid supplement gives you 1 mg, very flexible dosage. Since I have this Ultra K, I take this every other day for some MK7 and take the Thorne research MK4. I will probably not buy this again unless I decide to let my husband keep taking it since he does not eat many green leafy veggies. He takes the other MK4 also. I will probably buy the Carlson MK7 supplement to use with the Thorne Research MK4.

"This has all three forms of vitamin K that you'd want. Quite often you'll find information that recommends just one form of Vitamin K, such as MK-7. Without going into too much detail, I'll just say this. Each form of Vitamin K offers its own unique benefit to the body. If I were to pick just one type, it would be MK-7. BUT, there are also roles that MK-4 plays inside the body that MK-7 does not. The fact that this supplement provides all three forms is its number one selling point IMO (oh, and the great price too).
Don't forget that vitamins A, D, and K all interact with eachother, so you shouldn't take too much of one without the others."
