"Oat bran does not have as much flavor as steel cut oats. I add oat bran to my oatmeal. Oat bran does not have as much flavor or body as I had expected."

"Started eating this absolutely terrible tasting stuff about ten years ago and my glucose count went down. Absolutely HATE the taste--kind of like glue! SO...I add a tablespoon of peanut butter, half teaspoon of cinnamon, some frozen blueberries from Costco, and usually a banana. GREAT breakfast. Keeps you regular."

"I've been using this product as my breakfast food for about 15 years. I use a 1/3 cup Tupperware measuring cup and use three (1/3rd) cups of water in a 2 qt. pot. While it is coming to a boil I dry out the measuring cup and fill it, heaping, with Mother's Oat Brand. When the water comes to a brisk boil I turn it down to a moderate boil and pour in the oat brand. I stir it for about 2 minutes and then turn the burner off. Stir it for another minute. Wash out the spoon and measuring cup and then put on top of the oat brand a heaping 1/4th measuring cup of ground cinnamon. On that I put a some low-fit butter and mix the mess for about a minute. Pour it up and it is ready to eat. There may be easier ways to do this (I've tried a few), but, as I said, I've been doing this for 15 years and it is absolutely wonderful.
