The Best Chicken Broth I have ever used!
 June 7, 2015
"I have compared this brand with others and there is no comparison. This is the very best brand on the market today in my opinion! I highly recommend this brand. Makes excellent soups and is great for making dressing too."

The Only One I Use
 December 1, 2012
"The Imagine Foods Organic Free Range Chicken Broth is the only chicken broth that passes my high requirements on quality ingredients with nothing added that I don't want. I try to always keep some of these on hand. I use this instead of water for cooking rice (or use part water, part broth). I also use instead of beef broth to add moisture to pot roasts, as a gravy base, soup base or stew liquid. It is also base ingredient in fish chowder (recipe below). I avoid any of the nightshade family which can contribute to inflammation (white or red potato, eggplant, paprika, red & green pepper, etc) - this product does not contain any nightshades. I have tried many brands over the years & broths very similar to this one, but this is the best one for taste & adding additional nutrition when used in any recipe plus its high quality simple ingredients are superior in my opinion. This is not salty or MSG laced - just old fashioned broth meant for you to add your own touches such as veges & seasoning like sea salt. I will share my Easy Fish Chowder recipe notes: EASY FISH CHOWDER
1 pound chunk cod pkg - thawed & mostly drained from melted ice crystals water
2 oz (1/2) stick unsalted butter (I used both substitute & butter)
1 lg onion (I used 3/4 huge onion)
1 to 2 cloves garlic chopped (I used 3)
1 lg sweet potato chopped
I also added chopped celery & chopped chard
2 T flour (I used more)
2 C vegetable or chicken broth (I used chicken)
2 C milk (I used rice milk & used extra flour)
salt & pepper
1 T Chile flakes optional (I omitted)
(other seasoning used: dash celery salt (or seed), thyme, dill weed, smigeon of fennel pollen)
In Le Crueset oval pot, melt butter. Add chopped sweet potato, onion, garlic, chard & celery until potato starts to soften. Season with salt & pepper. Sprinkle with flour & stir gently over low heat for about 5 mins. Add liquids & cook over low heat til soup begins to thicken. Gently stir in cod and contiinue cooking until fish is completely cooked. Taste for seasoning and add additional salt and pepper as necessary.
