"I've thought many times about creating a floss without all of the plastic packaging.
We go through a lot of floss and live on the coast where we walk the beach and pick up thousands of pieces of plastic every week. I am thrilled beyond words to have found this item and that it's vegan is icing on the cake!
I slightly modified a used Johnson & Johnson floss package and popped in the EcoDent floss and it works like a charm."
"The product is good for the price. I use this cheaper floss interchangeably with dr tungs smart floss (best floss ever) bc its so expensive and I floss a lot. One downfall is this floss is thin and could easily fray on some teeth. I have one tooth that it will shred on so I do that tooth last. Many people complain about the box not holding up so I saved my old plastic box from another brand and put this floss in it. I prefer the manufacture using cardboard and simply changing it out myself with a $ store plastic container floss box. It saves thousands of plastic floss containers from going into the landfill."
"I decided to do a comparison of dental floss, so I purchased one of each brand to see which I liked best. Eco-dent won out because it does what all good floss does; cleans the teeth without shredding the floss AND they've done a super job with their packaging. The cinnamon flavor is pleasantly tasty, but mild."
Good value, Earth friendly, but not the best floss

"No hard plastic packaging, so no waste there. Floss is ok, but shreds rather easily, especially with very crowded teeth. More floss for the price than other natural brands. But the cardboard box deteriorates/collapses from use before floss is half used up, so it becomes harder to get the floss out and it wants to shred when cutting away from packaging. Annoying, but worth the price and avoidance of extra plastic to toss in the trash."
