"Initially I hesitated to buy this coconut oil as I'm not sure if it was a good choice considering the price. To my surprise, it tastes and smells like any other extra virgin organic coconut oil! I use it alot especially for frying and baking. Yes, coconut oil (not a hydrogenated oil) is a good replacement for butter. It doesn't go rancid compared to other oils/fats. I've even made the cheese cake crust with it and it's sure yummy! Good for the skin also, especially dry skin."
