"This little bottle provides a potent mist that seems to tame frizz and define curls while providing a light sheen. It has a strong "herbal" smell but I don't find it at all unpleasant, merely very "botanical." It doesn't weigh my hair down or leave it feeling greasy. It is very light and effective for my past-the-shoulder length wavy hair."

"I bought this despite the scary reviews about the smell and am SO happy that I did! My hair is naturally curly (but not overly curly) and I struggle with frizz which kills my curls and poofs my hair - no more! Yes, the smell is not wonderful but it fades fast and I've never had anyone else notice it on me. I put it on at 7am and just did a sniff test at noon - no scent. Definitely try this - you won't be disappointed! It gives my curls definition and controls frizz with very little applied. I put a spray here and there, work it around a little and voila - beauty! :)"

"My new stylist and good friend told me the single best thing we can do for our hair is use a leave in conditioner. I looked for one from Aubrey, as I swear by their chemical-free formulas. Added bonus that it's a curl activator. It increased my wave/curl by at 100%! I use it with the B5 design gel, and a blow dryer/diffuser. It has really changed my hair texture for the better. I don't spray it, I just pour it into my hand and work through hair."

"This product turned my thin, fine hair into lovely shiny curls. It works really well. Unfortunately, I cannot tolerate the smell. It isn't a salon smell, it just is really overpowering. If you don't have problems with scents, go for it. If you do, I would really not take the chance. I was so disappointed because the product works so well and Aubrey makes such pure products."

"Do not let the smell keep you from trying this wonderful product- the smell fades/ and you will get use to it ... My husband likes the way that it smells- I had to adjust to it!

As for the size of the bottle- 3-5 sprays per side max is all that one needs. The results are just perfect."

"I have never been so offended by a product before. I love AO products but I can't justify walking around smelling foul no matter how good the product is. Secondly, the product does what it says but is not superior to other products on the market. In addition, it is very expensive for the amount you get. I would use the entire bottle in less than a week. It really smells bad!!!!"

"This has a really strong fragrance and normally I am very sensitive to fragrance however this is an "Aubry" scent - if you have purchased these products before you will know what I mean - strong but natural and fades. The curl activator aspect of this works really well. My hair is thin and frizzy normally. When I use this I have really nice waves and curls that last with no frizz. I use it with Alba Botanica soft hold style cream on wet hair and blow dry with a diffuser. Nice combination - great, healthy curls."

"This has really helped my hair get healthier but it is totally stinky. The seabuckthorn has that seaweedy smell and the overall effect of the smell is metallic on the hair. I think using the spray is worth that stinky if you need to revitalize your hair. Only people who are getting really close to you will smell it. It makes your hair really curl up very naturally too."

"my hair is thin, wavy, long and fine. i love this product for adding extra moisture. if i skip it, i can definitely tell a difference in the texture of my hair. it is a bit on the $ side for the size bottle, but a little goes a long way. i just add one in when i am making a supplement purchase from this site and with the discount, it is well worth it. i tried the other spray in conditioner by aubrey and it was too heavy for my hair type. tip - open the bottle and scrape any product that has deposited around the inside of the top back into the bottle and give it a good shake and don't overdo it. start with less, i use about 5 or 6 pumps each side. i use it after having conditioned in the shower. not sure how much if you use it as your only conditioner."

"I love most Aubrey Organics products and when I recieved this and smelled it, I was nervous... it doesn't smell pleasant at all... but it REALLY works. My hair is naturally very wavy (not quite curly), and it usually dries frizzy. I ordered this because I don't like to take the time to condition in the shower... after showering, I just sprayed my hair and left it. I was also looking for something easy to condition my 3 year old's hair. I sprayed all around her messy wet head and just left it alone and when it dried, it was soft. I didn't even comb it out. So we both have soft, wavy hair with no tangles or frizz. As an added bonus, the strong smell has worn off... I am glad I took a chance on this!"
