Prince of Peace Premium Peony White Tea -- 100 Bags

100% USDA Organic--Individually Wrapped. For centuries Bai Mu Dan tea (also known as “Peony White”) was an extremely rare tea once reserved for Chinese royalty. Peony White tea, considered one of the premium grades of white tea, is made of young leaves and buds from the Camellia Sinensis plant, hand picked during the fresh spring harvest in China’s Fujian province. The white, silver-ish leaves give Peony White tea its name. With minimal processing, Peony White tea’s antioxidant property is significantly more than green tea. There is also considerably less caffeine in white tea (15-20mg per serving, compared to green tea at 20-30mg, black tea at 50-80mg, and coffee at 100-200mg). For quality assurance, each tea bag is individually wrapped.

"This is really good tea, it has no bitter after taste like green and it is better for you. To make it even better for you I sweeten it with raw honey, but you have to add the honey after the temperature drops below 117 degrees F or you will kill the enzymes."

"This is the best quality tea. It has a smooth subtle flavor without the acidity in most other teas. My choice is to make ice tea. This is my drink of preference and I drink it all day long. However, this also makes outstanding hot tea. It has just enough caffeine without going overboard. Excellent tea."

"A high quality white tea and has the lowest of all teas for fluoride…I have replaced green tea with this product with excellent results. I let it steep longer than recommended for a stronger tea. Very cost effective for white tea, Prince of Peace."

"I love all the Prince of Peace teas that I've tried. They're an incredible value for great-tasting organic teas. This is a nice mellow tea that does not have any bite - very low acidity. And properly prepared white tea has more antioxidant value than green tea!"
