"this product is highly ionized (body ready) and therefor doesnt require hydrochloric acid to be utilized. it doesnt compete with iron either; this info can be obtained online at the source naturals site. i like this brand because it focused on the calcium; most coral products have way too much bioactive magnesium for my comfort (laxative) this one is cut differently, have only a negligable magnesium content"
