"I bought the Smooth as Silk shampoo and conditioner for the advertised moisturizing properties and for colored hair. It feels like a residue is left in my hair, even though I rinsed it for quite a while. I am not able to style my hair well, and it falls flat. I'll give the shampoo to the boys in the house (if they'll use it!), and use the conditioner as a shaving gel for my legs."

"I love the compact size of the bottle, the light citrus (grapefruit like) scent of the product and the concentrated formula - you only need a quarter sized amount and one wash is enough. Overall I recommend this product. I wash my hair daily and it does not dry out my hair."

"This shampoo smells great and makes my hair very soft. I also follow with Smooth As Silk Conditioner. The old formula worked much better but this is still a good organic product."

"This conditioner is great for detangling hair. My hair is below shoulder length and tangles quite a bit. This conditioner works great to smooth the hair out and does not leave it weighed down."

"This formula has changed since my long time purchasing of it and not sure if it's as moisturizing as the old formula. I notice my hair is drier in the shower after rinsing and the older formula didn't do that. It actually conditioned my hair when washing. Been using the new formula for a week now...not sure if I'll continue w/it!"

"I absolutely love the Giovanni line of hair care products. I have long, thick, curly hair that lacks moisture. This shampoo doesn't strip my hair of its natural oils while shampooing. Plus, it's sulfate and paraben free and choke full of great organic ingredients. I highly recommend this product. I follow up with the Smooth as Silk conditioner from Giovanni."
