Dr. Bronner's Pure-Castile Liquid Soap 18-in-1 Hemp Unscented Baby-Mild -- 1 Gallon

Hemp has a remarkable number of beneficial uses for the whole Earth, and its rich fatty acids make our soap better than ever. Rosemary Extract- We are now using rosemary extract as a natural antioxidant to protect freshness. It gives a slight color to the soap as well. All contents of our soaps are explicitly stated. We use absolutely no detergents or foaming agents. Water is needed to saponify oils. Saponified Coconut-Hemp-Olive Oils (i.e. Potassium Cocoate-Hempate-Olivate) are the soaps which make up our pure-castile soap base: the coconut soap generates the high-lather cleansing, and the hemp and olive soaps create the emollient mildness. Glycerin is naturally liberated during saponification of whole oils: unlike most commercial soap makers who distill glycerin out of their soaps to sell, we retain it in our soap for its superb moisturizing qualities. Aloe Vera is excellent for sensitive skin: we use properly processed active aloe vera in effective quantity. Olive Fatty Acids are superfatted into the soap to increase mildness and enrich the lather.

"This soap is an EXCELLENT value because you can dilute it with water and it still retains its effectiveness as a bath/hand/face soap. It's wonderfully gentle on the skin and body and rinses clean leaving no soap residue in the shower. I tried using it to wash dishes but it did not cut grease well. However, I keep a bottle of it (60-40% mix, soap-water) next to the kitchen sink for handwashing as it's MUCH gentler on the hands than dish soap. A great buy."

"I love this product. I use this to bathe, as well as to wash my expensive makeup brushes without damaging them. The product is great for sensitive skin, and washes clean with no residue. I love it and will order it again and again!"

"This is my favorite soap. I even use it in my hair and laundry sometimes. It leaves me feeling and smelling clean and not dried out or over moisturized either. I feel like the cleanliness lasts 24 hrs even on a sweaty day. The only downside is that it burns very badly if it gets in your eyes so I do not recommend using in on young kids or babies."

"I love all of the Dr. Bronner soaps. I have long hair and even use it as a shampoo. I use it on our 1 and 3 year olds. But beware! It does burn little eyes so avoid the eyes please. I absolutely love the ingredient list."

"This is by and far our favorite family soap!

I had saved 2 - 32oz bottles from before and purchased the gallon size this time to last us a little longer. They refilled from the gallon easily, and it's nice to know that I'll be able to refill both of them again from the gallon.

Excellent clean rinsing soap that really does leave you feeling squeaky clean. Excellent for anyone who has skin problems, wants to pamper their children's skin, or just wants a soap without any junk in it.

I can't say enough good things about this one, because it really is a good soap for EVERYONE.

Thanks for the economical price and size. Would definately get this one again!"

"Safe and effective for the whole family--especially those who have allergies or sensitivities to fragrance and chemicals. Does not slip off the hand like many fragrance free soaps. Not great as a shampoo for long, hair, though. Leaves residue in long hair. Excellent as a body wash, though. Free of Sodium Laurel Sulfate."

"I can not say enough about just how great this soap is. I have been interested in replacing the various cleaning products and personal products that I use with organic, earth friendly alternatives. This soap seemed to be just what I was looking for. For cleaning purposes I mix this with vinegar, baking soda etc and have come up with many uses for it around my house. My favorite use however is as a bath soap and hand soap. I purchased several different essential oils and mix a little with Dr. Bronner's to make whatever scent I feel like using. I can change the scent to suit the season or my mood. I never get bored with having to stay with just one scent. I have very dry skin and this soap protects my skin from drying out. My skin looks better than ever and I have no dry skin itchiness now that the weather is getting colder. I purchased one gallon of the Unscented soap earlier this summer. I have not had to buy bath soap, hand soap, or cleaning products ever since. I am ordering another gallon before this gallon is completely gone. I don't ever want to be without it."

"We've been using this soap exclusively for 7 years, and it works great! Our oldest son has multiple chemical sensitivity, and this soap does not cause him any problems. It does a great job of cleaning, and it is very concentrated so you can bathe with a tiny amount making it a great value. Two gallons lasts our family of five for a year."
