"My grandkids actually like these capsules and take them each morning with no complaints. (Of course they eat all kinds of vegetables, too, so they may be a little unusual.) I feel good that they're getting something that helps brain development."

"This product was recommended by our DO. My kids age 2 and up loved it from the beginning. Have tried to switch to other fish oil products just to get a higher dosage and they have not liked the flavor. This one is worth it for that factor alone."

"OK...so I got these due to all the rave reviews. What are these people thinking??? They look like Vit E pills with that clear rubbery coating. I gave one to my 3 year old (who is not picky). He put it right in his mouth and chewed. His face squinched up and told me they were yucky and spit out the chewed up rubbery part. I had one and agreed they were pretty bad. I take liquid fish oil so am used to the taste but I couldn't get past the rubbery capsule that doesn't chew mixed with the orange fish taste. It was pretty yucky. What a waste...there is no way I will get my son to take another one. I may try squeezing the oil out in his juice or something. FYI...NO NORMAL KID WILL EAT THESE PILLS. I will stick with Kid's Omega Burst DHA Fruit Chews by Barleans. He loves those. They are just so expensive."

"I regularly use Carlson's Cod Liver Oil in my baby's diets and usually Nordic Natural chewables for my older kids. I switched to the Carlson's chewables as I like the quality of Carlson's products and they were a better value than the Nordic Naturals, unfortunately my kids don't like them. My son who normally loves his "fish candy" has taken to swallowing the Carlson chewables whole and my daughter just takes them out of her mouth and says "yucky!" I will be going back to Nordic Naturals, they are smaller, have a less fishy taste and a thinner membrane that kids prefer."

"My 3 kids (ages 8,6,2) love taking these! They take them twice a day and always remind me if I forget to hand them out! My youngest eats the whole thing my older 2 suck out all the juice and throw the shell away. My oldest says that she burps orange after taking them (maybe I will switch to these, much better than the flavor I burp from my omegas!)"

"I bought this based on other reviews that their kids liked it. My 6 yr old hated it. I chewed one and did not like it either. They are fine if swallowed whole, but a kid can't do that very well. When I chewed it the "bursting orange flavor" was barely there to cover the fishiness and I couldn't stand chewing the capsule itself."

"My boys said the outside of the capsule doesn't taste bad but when you chew them they are pretty nasty. The capsule is small enough that my 9 year old boys can swallow them with no problem and they are willing to take them. So I would say they are better for a little old kids that can swallow a pill."

"This is a great way for your kids to take fish oil! My 7 yo & 5 yo love them (and they're picky). They just chew them up. I also give it to my 3 yo and my 19 mo old, but they can't chew them yet. I bite a hole in a capsule & squeeze it into their mouths. They like it, too! I think this along with some other things helps with my son's eczemea."
