"First, make sure any D3 supplement is oil-based (like this is) for effective absorption. Been taking this to increase my vitamin D level--nice, small little gelcap is easy to get down, no burp-back. I've had to move up to a 5000 IU supplement but would recommend this if you can get by with 2000 (or get the 4000IU version)."

"This is the best vitamin D I have taken. The capsules are tiny and make it easy to take vitamin D in large doses as my Dr. wanted me to do. In three months, my vitamin D level doubled, taking me into the normal range. I wouldn't go through another New England winter without this product!"

"I have heard more and more about the importance of Vit D recently. I started taking 4,000 IU's/day during the winter. BIG DIFFERENCE!!!

This stuff is great. I trust Carlson to make a safe and quality product.

I've even seen studies recently on Vit D deficiency possibly being the cause of the flu."

"I had been taking the high dose prescription vitamin D. When my blood level got up in the normal range, my doctor told me I could switch to an over the counter. I bought Life Extension, because of the company's reputation. My mood went down, and when I returned to the doctor, he found that my blood level had plummeted.
