"If you like the taste and sensation of drinking fish oil, then you will like these little guys. Out of my 5 kids, only two will take them, and one of those only because he can swallow them whole without chewing. The "fish" are a plasticky bubble full of oil. When you bite into the vitamin, the bubble pops, squirting fish oil all over your mouth. I bought these b/c in the reviews, most people raved about them. My kids can't stand them, and I can't blame them. They are gross!"

"I was hoping to have a great review for these but my kids do not like them and won't take them. They have a kind of hard gel outer layer and you bite into them and the fish oil squirts in your mouth (not too bad of a taste but not good either) Then you have the shell left to chew on. I will keep looking!"

"We've been mixing flavored fish oil into our 4-year old daughter's juice and she doesn't mind it at all. I bought these chewable softgels because the fish smell the oil leaves in her cups is horrible.
She spit the softgels out immediately and refused to try them again. I tried one myself and it does taste bad. It pretty much tastes like pure fish oil. The fruit flavoring they added isn't enough to make it tolerable."

"I probably should have known better...how can you really make fish oil taste OK? My kids do not like this capsule AT ALL. I will not buy again, though I am making them take what I have purchased already. It's no better than the peppermint flavored cod liver oil my mom spooned out to me in the 1970's....Plug your nose and swallow!!!"

"I bought this . My granddaughter gags every morning trying to take this product.The center is liquid and has a horrible taste and yes we tried it with juice and / or fruit. So I stopped giving it to her. I tried it also, just to see what she was talking bout. Good grief please improve this taste. I would not recommend this product to anyone.."

"Originally, I purchased these for my kids. I know it is so important for them to get those Omega vitamins and these were a convenient, tasty way for them to do so.
What I hadn't planned on was needing them myself. Normally, I take an adult omega complex capsule myself. While I was pregnant, I had a difficult time getting those precious omegas as my taste buds became defective and forget trying to swallow that horse-pill! My kids' omega vitamin to my rescue! They taste pleasant and they are soooooo easy to take (just chew them up). They have no unpleasant "fish-burps" after eating them.
I love them! And my kids do too."

"My 4 year old daughter was so excited to try the little fish the first time. She bit into it and the insides squirted out. She did not want to try it again until I showed her how to swallow it and make the fishy swim down to her tummy. She did it and now loves to make the fishy swim. I tried to chew one and it is very hard to chew, not like any gummy product. I recommend swallowing it and making a game of it."
