"I tried these when they first came out, and to be honest I wasn't really fond of them back then, due to the after-taste and brick-like texture. But it appears that these have since been reformulated, because they are now delicious, with a mildly sweet peanut flavor, and just the right bit of chewiness. Perfect for when I need a small meal on the go. I love these because they satisfy my sweet tooth in a healthy way."

"this food bar tastes excellent for what it is; a high energy protein bar blended with fuccoxanthin and the correct sweetners for optimal health; real food,
no refined sugar! Carbs to protein and fat are in ratio for optimal digestion and metabolic processing.
I eat these bars for on the go as my "fourth meal" because they provide me with just the right amount of calories and energy and fiber while I am on the road and in between meals at home. I've read Jordan Rubin's books and have total faith in his products as well as the Perfect Weight America program!"

"I liked the Peanut Butter Crunch bars by GOL. I found they had enough protein to keep my energy up and to keep hunger away when I used them as a breakfast substitute on the road. The taste reminded me of peanut butter fudge (but not as sugary). They tasted less "figgy" than the Chocolate Macadamia bars by GOL which made them more appealing to my better half. Overall, I found them to be good to have on hand when I was in a rush, and a nice alternative to a hotel deluxe continental breakfast!"

"I design nutritional plans for my patients and wanted to see if I could find a fucoxanthin-containing snack bar they could use as part of their meal plans. The texture of these bars is awful -- tough and difficult to chew. And, once you can actually bite off a piece of the bar, the taste is marginal at best -- no peanut butter flavor at all. It was like chewing on a piece of tough, flavorless, dried-out Tootsie Roll. Would definitely NOT recommend this - I returned the box for a refund."
