"Sorry but I got to tell it like it is. YUCK! I'm really not overweight but I have saddlebags and I would pay top dollar & still eat a product that tasted terrible but "burned fat." Well this tastes terrible & the saddlebags are still intact. Their was nothing macadamia about it either. I'm making myself eat them but I'm thinking about pitching the last 5 - no need to put myself thru that. Sorry, I wanted to like them. P.S. They should really remove the word macadamia."

"The first bite, I thought I had made a mistake. By the time I finished that bite, I couldn't put the bar down and I have been craving them ever since. I let my mom try them too and she liked them as well. They are super chocolatey, but not sugary, so it is NOT like eating a big piece of chocolate cake. . . more like eating a very healthy meal that happens to taste like chocolate. I don't really notice the flavor of the macadamia nuts, but I like the crunch."

"I can see that not everyone is crazy about these bars, but I can tell you two things about me: I am a chocoholic (the darker the better) and I tend to binge eat.
I eat healthfully for the most part so I am accustomed to the slightly unusual taste and consistency that protein bars have. However, the chocolate macadamia crunch bars have an intense dark chocolate flavor and a chewy consistency, which I love.
Best of all -- and this is huge for me -- one bar will actually satisfy my craving to binge completely, and for hours. I take small bites so it lasts longer.
The calorie count is the same as a chocolate bar, but you will be doing your body a favor to eat this instead of traditional candy.
P.S. The peanut bars have about 30 less calories, but they do not satisfy the urge to binge."

"OK, does it taste like a chocolate bar? No. But if you are doing the Perfect Weight America diet, it is a welcome little bit of chocolate. When I first tried this bar, I had not yet started the PWA diet. I thought it was just barely pallatable. But after doing the 10-day summer cleanse to kick off the diet, my taste buds received them totally differently. They definitely accomplish their purpose, giving me lots of energy and filling me up for a considerable amount of time. And I've gotten to where I really like the way they taste. So give them a shot, but with realistic expectations. (P.S. My husband, who does not care for chocolate much, REALLY prefers the peanut butter version. If you don't go for chocolate under normal circumstances, try those instead.)"

"To me this product is really for someone whom works out a lot or really likes this type of health bar. Now for me it was really hard to bite into . So of course that kind of put me off but the taste once you did get a bite was alright if you like to chew on a hard and really chewy health bar."

"My 3 year old granddaughter and I love this bar! I tastes a lot like tootsie rolls, and definitely satisfies the hunger. It can also be a healthy alternative to a candy bar. Definitely keep these on hand for when hunger strikes. I keep one in my purse, in my room and in my pantry. Well worth it."

"The bars have a gooey texture that fail the taste test miserably. The two stars for effectiveness is only because it will keep the blood sugar steady until real food can be acquired, but it takes some doing to actually consume the bar without gagging."

"I bought these bars as a breakfast alternative or a quick lunch when traveling. My goal is not weight loss, but I was looking for a bar with adequate protein that wasn't soy. My husband hated these bars, but he isn't a chocolate lover like I am. I adore dark chocolate (it tends to be more bitter or coffee-like) and that's what the flavor of these bars is all about. I found that these bars satisfied me and kept my energy level up. They have a chewy consistency, with small chunks of nuts. So if you're a nut-lover and dark chocolate lover, give 'em a try."
