"I was taking the capsules, but figured is would be more cost effective to purchase the powder. I've had it a day and can barely bring myself to take it, most disgusting thing i've ever tasted, putting it in oatmel did not help for me it made the taste worst and i almost threw up. I did enjoy the capsules while taking them..so I hope to find something that I can take it with"

"This maca product is extraordinarily bitter, unlike many other reputable brands on the market that I have also tried. Bitter maca is said to be irradiated and when I emailed and asked Maca Magic if they irradiated their product, they did not respond to my question. I had asked them other questions prior to inquiring about irradiation and they always answered me immediately. I asked a second time about potential irradiation and have yet to receive a response."

"I got this because of information on adrenal support. That was good (more energy and enthusiasm!?!) but what I REALLY like is how the menopause symptoms have greatly improved. As long as I pay attention to the other no-no's (for me alcohol, animal fat, caffeine) I can be pretty much symptom free (fewer or no hot sweats, panic, rage, heart palpitations). Pretty great...the taste is nice too, kind of malty."

"This product is of good quality and is easy to use in powder form. I have just ordered it in tincture form for when I travel. I am going through menopause and was having problems with sleeping and mood swings. Since I've been using Maca Magic I feel so much better and sleep 7 hours a night. "My endocrine system really needs support and healing and I can really tell the Maca powder helps. I am feeling like my health is getting better every day. I found a great way to use this. I mix the maca powder with coconut oil, tahini, raw honey, raw cacao powder, and shredded coconut and roll it into balls (like little truffles) and roll them in shredded coconut. They are GOOD!! I call them my little energy balls. And I've given up all other chocolate. Each ball ends up having a little over 1/2 tsp of maca so I eat 4-6/day. And it's a great way to get my coconut oil which is anti-viral, anti-fungal....... and on and on."

"I think this stuff works. You feel more driven to accomplish things. I notice that when I don't take it I'll have less energy and say to myself, "Why am I so out of it today?" Then I remember I didn't take my Maca and it gets me going. It's not a hyper energy it's more of a calm focused energy. The powder is great because you can mix it with drinks and it tastes kind of maltey. I sometimes eat it directly from the spoon and rinse it down with water. I work out in the morning and don't like to eat anything before I workout because it reduces the amount of growth hormone your body releases when you do workout. This is considered a food so I mix it in with my protein shake after the workout and I don't feel drained. I've read it's even better for women to take because it balances their hormones which fluctuate more than men's do. I was able to fit the entire contents of the bag into an old NO xplode container and it fits perfectly. This stuff makes you feel better than any multivitamin you'll find and I definitely recommend it."
