"I did not get a chance to give the spray a proper test this summer, but it seems effective enough. It spreads easily, does not irritate the skin.
The smell is VERY strong! It smells exactly like geranium does. And stays with you quite a while..."

"This product only seems to deter the moquitos here in manitoba for about 1/2 hour tops..for me, anyways (sitting on the park bench while my kid plays with her friends) On my 9 year old..it only works the min. time..maybe 10-15 mins. The mosquitos just surround her and wait. AND we apply it quite profusely too. If you keep reapplying, our skin starts to burn."

"The greenheads around here are terrible and this stuff keeps them away. They fly towards you and then turn around. Our dog has 50 around him and they never went near me. Now to find spray for the dogs."

"This was absolutely NON EFFECTIVE! I tried just spraying on. Then tried spraying and rubbing so that I would get total coverage. In less that 5 minutes I was being bitten by mosquitoes. Tested on my boyfriend the same way. He is normally not the main course for mosquitoes as I am so I was shocked when this stuff allowed the bugs to devour him as well. Burt's Bee's is going to get this same review! Don't waste your money on either product!"

"I've been using this for about 3 months now. Mosquitos are plentiful on my property, especially in the evening out in the garden. The sprayer doesn't spread well directly on to your skin, so I spray four pumps into the palm of my hand and rub it into my skin. It spreads easily and there is absolutely no weird tightness feel on your skin. Your skin feels completely comfortable like there's nothing on it. The smell is extremely strong! Not necessarily unpleasant, but a very strong citronella/herbal smell. It seems to dissipate within about 30 mins. Keeps the mosquitos completely off me for about 1 to 2 hours, max. Any longer, I just reapply. Very happy with this. It's all natural with none of the chemicals of the others."

"I am a first time user of this bug repellent. this is a good product. it smells nice. unfortunately the sprayer does not have good coverage so you have to spread it with your hand. Keeps mosquitoes in S. America away! I am so glad i added it to my order. I will buy Herbal Armor again."
