NSI Carb Blocker With Phase 2 Starch Neutralizer -- 1000 mg - 240 Capsules

NSI Carb Blocker with Phase 2® is a natural extract from white kidney beans that may help diminish the effects of the enzyme responsible for the absorption of carbohydrates. The Carb Blocker starch-neutralizer nutrient helps to inhibit the digestive enzyme alpha amylase before it can convert starch into glucose (sugar), and then fat. "I do as suggested and take two capsules before eating carbs and they are not absorbed but eiliminated-- much the same way alli works on digested fat. It's not a miracle drug, but works well with a proper diet and exercise and I keep some in my purse when I cannot avoid a high-carb meal at work."

"I've been using Phase 2 for about 1.5 years now and I am convinced it helps. I don't think I could lose weight just by taking it alone, but it definitely helps. I also do cardio and weights and take some other diet pills, but as a vegetarian I naturally eat a lot of carbs and need something like this to help cancel it out."

"I only use it when I go out to eat .. when I want "bad" carbs like a baked potato or pasta or lots of rice with my meat or fish.
My weight has never changed when using this product .. when I didn't use it .. I'd gain 1 to 2 pounds after a heavy meal ..

"I took the whole bottle as directed and did not notice any immediate change. Could it be that I was also taking Chitosan(a fiber) @ the same time?? I did not lose but a few lbs. Then went into a plateau and just gave up. I am sorry that I cannot recommend this product."

Don't See Weight Loss Yet, April 27, 2009

"I've been using this product for 3-1/2 weeks but have not seen any weight loss.

This product is supposed to block alpha amylase (carb metabolizer).

I've read that, in some cases, the body reacts to the inhibition of the alpha amylase by producing glucoamylase. Glucoamylase is also a carb metabolizer.

I will reorder it but also order and use NSI Salacia Oblonga which should inhibit glucoamylase production.

I'll give it a month with both products to see what happens. I will report back on the outcome."
