"I try a lot of different food bars and rarely come across one that just knocks my socks off. I try to get organic and raw ingredients whenever possible. Unfortunately, most bars are either hard (and hard on the teeth), tasteless, or putrid. Not this wonderful bar.
The outside is a rich organic chocolate cover that drapes around a green veggie center. I had to look twice because I could not believe there were green veggies inside. It didn't taste at all like you think veggies would. It is sweet and crunchy inside. Lots of sprouted and fermented seeds and grains, veggies and veggie juices, honey and cane sugars, and a probiotic blend thrown in. The raspberry flavor is distinct. Very much like chocolate covered raspberries but with a very different texture. This bar is not only delicious, made with all organic and raw ingredients, it is GOOD for you!
This is now replacing any and all chocolate bars in my diet."

"Rightly or wrongly tried these as alternative Greens Plus (especially the chocolate ones, which I think are superb). Somehow the flavors of this, especially teh raspberry, are so overdone that the smell, but above all, the taste is unfortunately rather sickening. I can't quite put my finger on it, but just sort of emetic. Buy the Greens Plus Chocolate instead. No comparison!"

"I have one warning about these bars: THEY ARE ADDICTINGLY GOOD! I love these bars and have even gotten my 4-year-old grandson (who is VERY picky about food) to enjoy eating these. He thinks there like a candy bar--though I know they give him some wonderful nutrition for his growing body. My husband and I take these bars camping, traveling, etc... If you love chocolate and raspberry and want to have something with whole food ingredients that's nourishing...you can't go wrong choosing these. Mmmmmmmm!"

"This bar is very, very sweet, like a candy bar. The chocolate raspberry flavor dominates the tons of vegetable ingredients they put in the bar. I have to eat it with a green powder drink, green tea or cocoa to balance out the strong sweet taste. I like the raw vegetable ingredients they put in the bar, but I would prefer it to be less sweet."

"These are the most amazing tasting bars I have ever tried and my 4-year-old fights me for them! She wants the whole bar, resents the fact that I like to take a bite of hers before I give it to her (as she eats most of the box)! The bars are crispy on the inside, chocolate coating tastes real not the icky fake chocolate like in some fake Italian cookies I remember from childhood and best of all, it is just about the healthiest bar you can buy. I always try to look for at least partially raw ingredients and this bar is almost 100% raw without the overly sweetness of dates and overpowering flavor of nuts (like the typical, chewy raw bars). No soy or whey protein isolates either (cheap ingredient, which most of us don't need b/c we generally eat enough protein, unless we're lifting weights). Of course I had to try the Greens+ bar to compare (and greens is something none of us remember to eat) - this one is by far better, bar none. The other one is not bad, but I can't keep these bars in the house long enough!"

"I bought these to use as a snack food. I could not get past the chalky grainy texture and weird taste underneath the chocolate. I ended up choking down the whole box. Good nutrition is in the bars, but be careful of the fat content if you are trying to lose weight. Overall disappointing. Maybe they tried to pack too much into this bar because I really like their other products."

"The bars were shipped during a heat wave. I opened one of the chocolate bars and the chocolate was melted to the wrapper but was absolutely delicious. After allowing for the bars to remain at room temperature for a couple days, I tried another one and surprisingly most of the chocolate remained on the bar. So don't worry about getting these shipped in the summertime. These are very yummy even though I'm not overly big on chocolate in general. My husband really likes these a lot and I'm certain they will become a staple snack food while he's trucking on the road."

"Man, these ARE good! I just opened my first one and they indeed taste delightful. I have had other chocolate covered green bars that taste good but these are above and beyond. Most raw, whole foods bars just don't seem to have good texture. They're always that soft sort of texture that gets old. THESE have a nice CRUNCHY texture in the center. YUM. What a breath of fresh air!! I wish they had more protein but other than that, I've eaten a lot of food bars in my day, and as far as the more nutritious whole foods, some raw ingredient, style bars, these are a cut above the rest. YEAH!!!"

"These little bars are really yummy. They are a bit too sweet for me. They hurt my teeth. I am a raw vegan. I am not sure if they are 100% raw. The package says "made with whole, live, and organic foods", but it doesn't say made "only" with those. That's why I won't eat these all the time, only when I need to. For anyone who is not 100% raw, these are perfect. They are certainly better than those nasty protein bars. They taste better and are much more nutritious. Certainly preferable to a candy bar or fast food. These bars are nice to have around when you need a quick bite and can't easily grab a real raw meal. They do melt in the heat though, so they may not be the best bar to carry in a purse during the hot months. Lara Bars are better for that. I don't like to rely packages food of any kind, but if you are in a jam and need a nutritious snack, these little velvety, crunchy, green, chocolate, sweet bars do the trick. They are a bit of an acquired taste for people who aren't used to green things."

"I bought these bars to have a healthier alternative while traveling. You know the feeling...the afternoon blahs when you've got another 200 miles to go and a candy bar seems like your best friend. They help satisfy a sweet tooth, and the protein gives your energy level a boost. You might want to close your eyes when you eat them (not while driving, though!) - the middles are green.
