"This was touted as all natural styling aid - well, it would help hold your style, but it leaves CLUMPS of product on the ends of your hair that are hard to remove!! I spent days pulling this out of my hair since shampoo didn't seem to wash it out even after a few days!! Gross."

"I really like this gel. It is 100% natural with nothing synthetic or harmful. It contains B vitamins which are highly beneficial and it has a pleasant smell. Aubrey products are of the highest quality and, if you can afford them, are well worth it! Sadly, I have watched this product and others creep up in price over the past year; I may have to look for an alternative."

"I've used Aubrey's B-5 gel for several years because 1) my hair needs extra control and 2) I very much want to avoid harmful and plastic chemicals. Aubrey's B-5 gel does a great job and has a clean label. I use it every single day. It can be left in full strenth for a "wet look" or combed out in a minute for a softer look. My only regret is that a year or two ago, Aubrey seems to have made it a little more watery - I liked it better before. Still, it's about the only product like it on the market, so I'll remain a very loyal user!! Highly recommended!!"

"At first I was hesitant to try this product after reading all of the negative reviews on makeupalley regarding flaking, but decided to give it a try. The smell is strong at first, almost like a strong after shave from the 70s that my father used to use (can't recall which one), but I can't smell it anymore once my hair is dry. I use a pea sized amount on my fine hair, rubbing it through my palms and then I apply it from roots to ends when my hair is wet, then I blow dry. It leaves my hair shiny, smooth and soft, and I love how it flows together. It doesn't weigh my hair down and I can't believe how glossy my hair is after using this. Make sure to shake the bottle well, per the instructions, as you need to do with most Aubrey products due to the natural ingredients. Not a single flake for me. I'm so glad I tried it! This gets a 2 from cosmetic database (low hazard)."
