"This shampoo is fantastic. It is very gentle and effective. My dog has sensitive skin and any synthetic ingredients bother his skin. I tried all sorts of shampoo including other brand's natural(so they claim) shampoo but made his coat corse and dry, and he lost hair in spots badly. This is the only shampoo my dog can tolerate. Now his coat is shiny and very soft. It has nice gentle fregrance as well. I found that I just need to use a bit extra to keep the nice smell last for a week."

"I have 2 miniture Shih Tzu's. The shampoo made them scratch, A LOT ! I had to give them another bath within a few hours of using this shampoo. I would not recommend this product if you have an animal with sensative skin."

"You can't beat the ingredients in this dog shampoo (they are all very mild and there are only 3 or 4 of them - all natural, of course). My golden has a lot of persistent skin irritations so we had to switch to this and while her irritations aren't gone I'm convinced they would be worsened by using a shampoo with chemicals, fragrance and tons of artificial stuff. I almost didn't buy this because I was scared that it wouldn't lather as well as other shampoos with detergents in them but it does. It lathers very well and easily. I'll be sticking with this brand of dog shampoo for sure."

"I have a stinky dog; there's just no other way to put it. We give him a bath once a week and usually after a day he smells again. At least with this product he smells better for a number of days. I like that!"

"I was really happy with this shampoo and the Castor & Pollux Head to Tail Conditioner Aloe. Although my two dogs (An Alaskan Malamute and a Border Collie mix) eat a natural raw diet and get salmon oil daily, they started getting itchy in the winter. They both had some dry itchy spots on their backs and at the base of their tails. I saw improvement after one use and even more after the second use. The shampoo and conditoner leave their coats feeling very soft and smelling fresh without using harsh ingredients and perfumes. The shampoo lathered really well even on my Malamute. I will definately buy both the shampoo and conditioner again to use year round."

"When used with the Castor & Pollux Head to Tail Conditioner Aloe this product seems to work really well. We bought both products to help with our black lab/border collie's dry and itchy skin and in just three baths, the dry flaky skin seems almost completely gone. She still scratches a little, but the vet said that might be allergies. It at least helped getting rid of the white flakes in the black fur! Thanks for a great set of products!"
