"51 grams of protein and only 2 grams of sugar ... a great profile. One of the better RTD's out there in my opinion. Tastes pretty decent to me, maybe some people might prefer higher fat/sugar and lower protein brands like Muscle Milk (which I drink from time-to-time) but this product is my staple when I don't have time to mix/blend a protein drink."

"It appears that this REALLY low fat gram product sacrifices taste - I wonder if you add Splenda... hmmm. I may have to try that. The RTD 40 was more palatable if you ask me and the extra 11 gms of protein may not be worth it... for compliance and all."

"I've tried numerous protein shakes and for me this one has it all! 51 grams of protein for only 240 calories with only 1 gm of sat fat. And it tastes great (my fav is vanilla). As an added bonus it has a comprehensive list of important vitamins and minerals, and if you're a carb watcher only 5 gm of net carbs. I gave a sip to my daughter and her husband and they were instantly hooked! It also keeps well after opening, so you could have, say, half a can, get 25 gms of protein for only 120 cals. Highly recommended."

"Of all the RTD protein shakes I have tried, MET-Rx vanilla has to be the best all around. For one thing, it has a whopping 51g of protein and only 1g fat with just 5 net carbs!
MET-Rx creamy vanilla really does taste great too, with an even taste and no aftertaste. If you are looking to really add protein to your diet without lots of fat or carbs, then this is an awesome product.
MET-Rx RTD shakes come in aluminum cans, and are slightly under pressure, presumably to help keep them fresh. It is not carbonated like soda, just packed under pressure. When you shake it up you have to be gentle, I just turn it upside down a few times because if you overshake then it makes a mess when you open it.
MET-Rx is not cheap, but quality seldom is."
