most effective energy drink I've ever tried, January 11, 2009

"I have chronic fatigue syndrome, and I basically depend on this stuff to function. I've tried just about every energy product out there and nothing else works as well or so quickly... and a very small amount goes such a long way! Seriously, all I have to do is take a gulp of this stuff and I'm more alert almost INSTANTLY. It also has the added benefit of appetite suppression.

Generally the rule is that the more effective an energy drink is, the worse it tastes. Considering how amazingly Xtreme Shock works, it really doesn't taste all that terrible. Well actually, the fruit punch flavor is naaaasty -- think children's tylenol -- but the grape is better, more like dimetapp elixer, still medicinal but you don't regurgitate after swallowing it.

But you have to keep in mind that this is not a "beverage." It serves a specific purpose and being yummy-tasting isn't what it exists for. If you have serious fatigue problems, this is the drink for you. The taste isn't important.

If they discontinued this product I don't know what I'd do!"

"THIS PRODUCT GIVES YOU TREMENDOUS ENERGY, HOWEVER THE TASTE LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED. IT HAS THE MOST BITTER BEFORE AND AFTERTASTE I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN AN ENERGY DRINK!"
