NSI Fo-Ti Root -- 1220 mg - 100 Capsules

NSI Fo-Ti Root -- 1220 mg - 100 Capsules

NSI® Fo-Ti Root 1,220 mg may help promote healthy immune function. Contributes to cardiovascular health and increased energy levels. How does NSI® Fo-Ti Root 1,220 mg work? Fo-Ti (polygonum multiflorum) is a plant native to China that also grows extensively in Japan and Taiwan. The Chinese common name for fo-ti, he-shou-wu, was the name of a man from the Tang dynasty whose infertility was reportedly cured by fo-ti. His long life was also attributed to the tonic properties of the plant. The unprocessed root is sometimes called white fo-ti, while the processed root is known as red fo-ti. According to Chinese herbal medicine, the unprocessed root is used to relax the bowels and detoxify the blood, whereas the processed root is used to strengthen the blood, invigorate the kidneys and liver and increase overall vitality. The major constituents of fo-ti are anthraquinones, lecithin, tannins and tetrahydroxystilbene glucoside. Anthraquinone is a compound that promotes a laxative effect, encouraging sound bowel movement. Lecithin supports healthy weight management, cardiovascular health and may enhance physical performance, endurance and energy. It may also contribute to healthy joints, cholesterol levels¹, hair and skin. Tannins are polyphenols, flavonoids known for their antioxidant activity that help protect the body from oxidative stress and free radical damage. Tetrahydroxystilbene glucoside, the final major constituent found in fo-ti, may help to maintain sound memory function.². NSI® Fo-Ti Root 1,220 mg is better because it:. -- contains a beneficial daily dosage of Fo-Ti in 2 convenient capsules. -- Is a better value when compared to other brands.  . Did You Know? All NSI supplements are packaged in HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) bottles. These bottles keep moisture vapor out, protecting the freshness and integrity of their contents, and are 400% more effective compared other brands currently using PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottles. HDPE bottles do not break as glass can and are also recyclable so we urge you to please recycle them.

Seems to be working.., March 8, 2009
By jgpsyc from Smalltown, MS

"I have been taking this products since last Summer. A friend at a 30 yr class reunion told me about it and said it could help with my white hair. My beard was totally white and since I have been using this product, I have seen more black coming into my white beard which is now more of a light gray. All I can say is, I will take this for as long as I can. I recommend this product and for the price its well worth giving it some time."

This is hard to review, February 19, 2009
By SisoftheMoon from Hampton Roads, VA

"This is hard to review because it's effects aren't immediately noticeable. I like the tea so decided to buy the capsules. The only thing immediately noticeable is that my husband has been happier.

I will continue to purchase this product."

Good quality product, August 8, 2008
By Persephone from Southaven MS

"I bought this product because I read it would restore color to grey hair and also act as a tonic. However, found my stomach was upset and felt this product could be contributing so stopped taking it for now. Like quality of all NSI products and trust the brand just didn't take long enough to see if it does what the web claims."
