"Folic acid has many benefits, including maintaining hair and nail health. And because it's water soluble, you need to take it everyday. One important thing regarding all supplements is how well your body absorbs them. Not all supplements are created equal. You usually get what you paid for.

This Source Naturals Folate (active folic acid) absorbs better than any other I've tried. How do I know?--Since I started taking MegaFolinic, my hair and nails have shown a dramatic increase in growth rate. In fact, I have to clip my nails once a week now. Which is kind of a pain. But at least I know this supplement is absorbing well, and working!"

"As we age absorption of folic acid becomes increasingly difficult. This more bioavailable form helps, in part, to solve that problem. Especially critical for anyone suffering from cognitive decline, reduced acetylcholine, or high homocysteine levels. And Source Naturals makes very high quality products."
