"As good as the ones filled with the icky chemicals! This shampoo smells great, lathers well, and cleans all of the product out of my hair. My husband and I both use it and love it! We both have normal to dry hair but this shampoo doesn't seem to dry it out. NICE! I have re-ordered several bottles."

"The price is isn't too bad if you keep in mind most of the ingredients are natural, but I don't feel is leaves my hair so soft and I have to use quite a bit to lather good enough. It smells good like lemon, but I don't find it lasting long. If I don't use the conditioner my hair will look freeze."

"I like this for a number of reasons. Firstly, the scent is bright and vibrant, really wakes you up. 2nd, the quality of the product is amazing, as is all the desert essence stuff, and I love the fact that its organic. Thirdly, it totally de-gunks my hair, which is why I wanted the lemon tea tree... My hair is shoulder length, blonde, slightly limp, and tends to go greasy if I use bad hair products. So, needless to say, this shampoo is great, and I will buy it again."

"I love the Desert Essence shampoos... They actually make my hair feel CLEAN, instead of coated or weighed-down. They're a bit more expensive than others, but they're the ones that make my hair look and feel (and smell!) the best. The only problem I have (satisfaction) is that these make my head itchy. And they're not the cheapest... but pretty good value. I wish the shampoo squeezed out faster, but that's just a laziness factor. This shampoo smells great, and works great. I will order it again!"

"I've bought this for my son and the cap was super hard to open each time so he used it twice and got frustrated and quit using it and handed it to me (this is the first time this happened to me with Desert Essence shampoo, usually I don't have a problem with the caps). He said he really liked the shampoo but didn't have the patience to tinker with the cap when he was in a hurry. So I grabbed it and tried it myself. What a NICE ! surprise! This stuff is fabulous. I absolutely LOVE the fresh Lemon scent but it gets better, it does clean oily hair/scalp really well without drying it out. The only downside to this shampoo (but that's with all organic/natural shampoos or so I have found) is that you'll need a little more than with regular shampoo. I will definitely order this again, I already have a couple favorites of Desert Essence, I might have to try them all, I could become a Desert Essence shampoo addict ;). The price is good, too considering the ingredients and well worth the price. Yes, it's not as cheap as Suave or something like that but this is high end shampoo and I dare say better than a lot of the expensive Salon shampoos."
