"There is an ingredient list with the bar now, sound like there didn't use to be. Primary ingredient is coconut oil. I started using coconut oil AFTER other soaps this past winter due to dryness. After switching to this soap--I haven't needed the coconut oil. I never use to use soap on my face-- but I use this one! Love the scent!"

"I bought this soap on a whim and was glad I did. It lathers up like no other. The suds are rich and creamy. It smells great, very exotic and intoxicating. Feels like I'm in a spa. The small bar is very hard so I know it will last a while and the price is great. I highly recommend giving this soap a try. :)"

"I think that the hard soaps I have been using has been drying my skin out so I thought I try something new. Chandrika soap is a nice handsoap, not bath soap. It does have a unique smell, I like it and it lasts a long time. I went on it's website and found only one ingredient that I couldn't tell if it was natural or not, soap powder. a warning though, some might not like the unique smell."

"Before purchasing this soap, I read the reviews (as I generally do!), so I did expect the the bar to be small; but that is okay! This is a wonderful, creamy, great-scented bar of soap! After trying one bar, I did as other reviewers do ~ bought more by the handful! It's terrific! I love the softly lingering scent afterward! I wish they would make a body lotion!"

"If you have skin blemishes and problems, this is the soap to try. All my skin irritations cleared up and my skin was soft again. The smell is great, not to overpowering and is suitable for men and women.

"I bought this soap for the value. I was overwhelmed by the aroma in the box, washing with the soap proved even stronger smell. Lingering long after a shower and perfuming the bathroom for hours. If you are looking for a room freshener enjoy this soap. The smooth feeling skin is nice but the scent is too strong for my liking."

"Wow, this soap lathers like crazy. A little goes a long way so it is a great deal. I use the creamy lather as a shaving cream on my legs too. A week ago I decided to experiment with it as a shampoo since it makes such thick lather. All I can say is wow, it works great as a shampoo too!!! I typically have oily, very fine & thinned out hair. This makes it so shiny without weighing it down or making it greasy. My hair comes out beautifully with this. It looks thicker & has more body to it. I hope it's safe to use this as a shampoo because I am not going back to my regular shampoo now. The only negative I found with this soap is the smell. It is a boring, antiseptic type smell. I wish the smell could be masked with some natural flowery ingredients. Luckily I don't think the smell is heavy on your body or hair."

"I've used this soap for several years now and can say only good things about it: wonderful smell that lingers on your skin for hours, good lather that cuts through body oil, relatively mild on the skin, does not use animal components and is not tested in animals. I buy at least a dozen bars at a time."

"I read the great reviews here and decided to try this soap. I was pleasantly surprised. Some people don't like the scent, but I do. The bright green color takes a little getting used to. For the money, its a great soap and the main benefit for me is that there are no chemicals in it."

"At first, the fragrance was a bit strange--kind of like antiseptic you imagine interns using to scrup up. Lathers well and no antiseptic fragrance at all at that point, so don't hesitate to try it. Leaves skin soft. Fits nicely into your hand so not as easy to drop while using. Or put it in netting to keep it handy."
