"I just want to be fair about the rating process so you can be informed, from my perspective, about why I rated the packets like I did. My wife and I buy the Coromega packets for our 6-year-old daughter. We always taste test the products we purchase for her… so we know what all the Coromega packet flavors taste like as we've purchased them all. Our daughter wanted to try the new flavor and even though I think it has a strong bitter & sour taste that shocked the back of my jaws and puckered my lips involuntarily, my daughter liked it... the first few times. Now her comment is, "This is definitely kind of sour.” We're unsure if she means something more than her statement but I'm sure she'll eventually let us know. Some people love sour tasting items. I'm just not one of them. It may be unfair that I rated this product when I actually bought it for my daughter."

"My kids like coromega so much that they ask for it. Lemon Lime is their favorite flavor. We have been taking them for a few years. It is an easy way to get omega 3's into a child that doesn't like to swallow pills. Product was recommended to me by a well respected doctor."

"This has quickly become one of my favorite supplements. It is so easy to take, tastes great and so convenient. It has cut a good 6 capsules out of my daily supplement intake! My energy levels have not suffered a bit either. I love that I take it once and forget it for the rest of the day. I also ordered it in orange flavor and love that one as well. The hardest part is deciding which flavor to take each day :)"

"This was recommended to our family by a child dev't specialist who has used it in her family to help with mood swings. We take it on a daily basis with other supplements. The ketchup-packet can be a pain to get open and I have to plug my nose when taking it, but like it nonetheless."

"This product is a good way to achieve the Omega 3 supplement need. I prefer the orange flavor but my husband takes this one with no complaints. It does not seem to have the fish flavor that can revisit you when you least expect it. I don't like having the extra trash but I do like the convenience of dosing."

"Well, I got this thinking I could get my kids to take their omega 3's and the first couple they took went o.k. but once the newness wore off they realized it doesn't taste so great. I also tasted it thinking they were just being picky but they were right, they taste terrible. MAybe some kids like them but mine don't and it's a battle to get it in them."

"i had been buying this product in a well known health food grocery store. I had never ordered it online until it was absolutely unavailable in my local stores. The delivery time was excellent but what strikes me the most about the product is how fresh the product tastes. the flavor is a lot stronger and i have decided to only order it online.. i think i anyone who orders this will be quite pleased."

"I love Coromega. My whole family takes it. The only reason I gave this product three stars for satisfaction and overall, was simply based on taste. We love the orange, but this one which is lemon-lime, we just didn't like. We even tried it cold. It didn't make any difference for my family. This flavor versus the orange seemed to give a bad after taste, as well as having a mediciny flavor. It comes down to personal preference."

"I have been happy with the orange flavored Coromega for years, then I saw lemon-lime and thought it would be great. Think again! this stuff has the worst fishy aftertaste of almost all fish oil I have tasted. I thought maybe it was just me, so I convinced a few office workers to try it and had the same reaction, YUK!

I could also taste this stuff for a few hours after any burp.

My recommendation is to stick with Orange, Orange Chocolate or buy Carlson's liquid which has NO fishy taste."

"I was introduced to Coromega by a therapist to help with fatigue...it has better absorption. This, together with topical dermal application of a magnesium gel has made me feel like my old self. I prefer the chocolate flavor, but the price of the lemon is $6 cheaper; hope the price stays the same as I buy 3-4 boxes at a time."

"i purchased this product as i have a hard time remembering to take multiple fish oil pills throughout the day, and was pleased with the promise of "no artificial flavors or sweeteners" and the many reviews that stated the fish flavor was well masked. The gel does actually taste VERY fishy, despite being well refrigerated, and there is an overwhelmingly chemically/articial taste to the flavoring. After having a horrible headache the first 2 times I took it, I threw it in the trash."
