"This fat burner is a decent one, and I have tried just about all of them. For the money, this is a good value. However, I sure hope they eliminate the red food coloring. Before I realized that it was the dye in the HydroxyRip I thought I had an intestinal bleed. It goes away after discontinuing use and comes back upon resuming. It isn't subtle and I don't understand why on earth they feel the need to dye the contents of a LiCap."

"I have tried other products, including the one that preceeds this one. The overall lasting effect is not that great of a time span, so you have to keep using it, and hope you don't forget and leave them behind so you can eat. I found myself not eating because I left the pills at work. I did like the fact of not having the jitters and bouncing off the walls. I have sold several others on this product, since they've asked what I was doing, to loose the weight. My tummy actually has flattened and drew up with no abdominal exercise at all!"

"I have taken this product for a few weeks and I can tell my metabolsim has been boosted but the red food coloring in the product made me think there was blood in my stool. I am not sure why food coloring is necessary in a suppliment."

"Maybe it was my body and maybe it was the product, but I followed the instructions and I really found little result. My appetite decreased slightly but the pills gave me frequent headaches. Until I started taking these pills I was taking 200mg of caffeine twice a day so it's not like my body wasn't completely used to caffeine. I would recommend trying a different product for a weight loss aid."

"I only took one capsule at a time for the first couple of days.. It made me a bit jumpy, but I used that to my advantage. I felt I had more endurance for my 3 mile run each day. It did make me feel a bit sick to my stomach for a day or so, but that went away. I have lost 11 pounds in three weeks. I also exercise every day and eat a clean diet of no processed foods or bad carbs or fats. I would buy this product again."

"I have been stressing out over work lately, leading to overeating on some days. If I take two pills the day after I "overeat", my bulging belly goes back to normal. I've tried taking three all at once-- taking over 2 simultaneously is definitely not recommended. Too much caffeine at once! My heartbeat sped up like crazy, and I was hyper and jittery all throughout a long car ride this weekend, the entire day. Any time I laughed, I felt as if I were going to have heart attack. Though it did boost my energy by a lot, it was definitely too much. (I am a 5'4 woman weighing 125lbs.)
Take two pills at a time and you're fine. A set of two in the morning and then around lunch. Just take them a few hours apart... for some reason this is much more efficient than taking three pills at once.
For the past few days, I have been eating more lightly-- no exercise! And my waist size seems to have dropped by at least an inch. Imagine what it could do for someone taking this for a month, routinely!"

"I am an unusually fit 68-year old male who hits the gym regularly and cycles 35-50 miles a day 4 or 5 days a week. "I'm very pleased with this product. I started off looking for something to help speed up my metabolism without giving an arm or leg. I found that in Hydroxyrip but it also helps suppress my appetite while converting fat into lean muscle rather than just eliminating it. "This product seems to work pretty well; however, one MAJOR design flaw. The FD&C Red #3 turns your bowels RED.
The last thing I want a supplement to do is turn my bowels a deep shade of RED ---- Red in your bowel usually means something is wrong (ie blood in the bowel).
For that reason, I will be using a competive product, instead. If NSI can correct this "issue" I would be happy to come back.

Having said that, this is not a hardcore fat burning supplement. It is a green tea extract packed with enough caffeine to get you revved up for your workouts and to keep your metabolism running all day. "I REALLY freaked out at the red stool. Thank god I soemwhat recall seeing a review on here talking about it. It seems the recent reviews say they got rid of the dye.. they didnt in my case. I took one at around 10am and 2 at around 1pm. I couldn't sleep at ALL that night..kept waking up with a dull pain in my upper arm area I didn't drink caffeine that day with it...and have taken several other pills in the past (hydroxycut, xenadrine, lipo 6) and this one isn't even worth a second day of trying. I'm a big guy 6'4 215 and this did a number on me. I'm sending back and getting another product and vitamins. :)"
