"I bought a single packet of this just to try. I thought it was going to be some dull white rice with chicken in it. I was wrong the rice it self was a joy to eat with a lot of chicken flavor in it.

I could eat this as a meal once or twice a weeks and I would feel fine with that."

"Mountain House's Chicken and Rice is one of their cheaper entrees, and has a pretty basic taste - but is very satisfying. Has a good chicken flavor, and the spicing seems right."

"This is a delicious mix of chicken and rice that doesn't taste freeze dried, like most similar products I've tried. I've found Mountain House to be an excellent choice for long term storage foods in general and this one is one of their best tasting selections and with the discount Vitacost offers, it is also one of the best values for the money."
