Capra from goat milk collected from our own farms to preserve it's original composition. Most other milk protein powders are made from cow milk and use several harsh processing steps, including heating at high temperatures. Mt. "I am an avid user of Mt. Capra Caprotein. I joined a boot camp program that required the use of protein supplements which I was unable to use because of my intolerance to dairy products. I substituted the Caprotein and was shocked at the way my body responded so positively to the goat protein. I had high energy levels and full satisfaction after drinking my shakes. I lost 15 pounds in 6 weeks and dropped my body fat by 7 percentage points. It does tend to be a bit chalkier than dairy whey protein products, but with the addition of an organic bananna and a dash of vanilla, the results to your body's well-being are well worth the adjustment! By the way, I am 50 years old and I just ran my first half-marathon, beginning with a breakfast of a Mt. Capra Caprotein shake!"

"I found this product to be a really good source of digestable protien(which can be hard to find), however I was not a fan of the vanilla flavor. I seems to have a bit of a chalky taste. Considering this is goat milk protien, I'd say that explains 90% and 10% my own personal perfernce of the taste...and I will countiue to buy this because it is a excellent source of quailty protien. Also, I found it to be very soothing on my digestive system."

"This stuff is God-awful. Seriously, it's one of the worst things I have ever tasted and I've eaten a lot of weird stuff.... I tried to put it in my smoothies but it just ruins them. The taste is chalky, fermented, sour goat.... Seriously, it's not a case of "oh, it's goat so it's a really strong flavor." No, I LIKE that flavor. I don't like this flavor.... Speaking of flavor, what happened to the vanilla? I thought this was supposed to taste like vanilla. I can't cook with it, I can't put it in smoothies... my dog likes it though and it is good protein with no fat so I'll give it two stars instead of one. -Rooke"

"I like to take regular breaks from cow's protein. This product along with some lowfat goat milk, fresh mango and banana is a great way to start the morning! This powder disperses well in the blender giving my shakes great texture - not grainy like some other powders. The vanilla taste is great as is - not artificial tasting like some I've had, but I often add a little cardamom and cashew to give it a little special extra."

"This is one of my favorite protein powders. It's a little chalky but delicious. I like how it is unsweetened so you can add it to whatever you want, or choose your own natural sweetener. "I used to love having just a milk, blueberries and bananas smoothie each morning, but when I read how caprotein added good protein to your diet, I thought I would give it a try. I add just a tablespoon to my bananas and blueberries and organic milk and wow! What a difference in how I feel. It gives me that missing ingredient I needed to get going and feel more charged, plus it has a little bit of a vanilla flavor that is just right."
