"We ordered 2 bottles of the Mega EFA Omega-3 softgels. One of the two bottles gave us fairly strong fishy burps, while the other bottle was fine. My understanding is that fishy burps are often due to somewhat rancid oil, so perhaps one of the batches was somewhat off. Vitacost service, however, is always good."

"if you have ever tried Omega-3 products then you know how icky the aftertaste can be when you...this is gross but true... burp. This has a very delicious and very natural STRAWBERRY taste that I actually look forward to tasting... yum! The best one we've tried yet out of 5 products. The price is a little higher than I would like to pay but the product is PURIFIED of toxic heavy metals (mercury, etc) which cause migraines in me so I don't mind paying a little more for a good-tasting high quality product."

"Omega 3 EPA and DHA is an essential supplement I take every day. I believe it also acts as an anti-inflamatory, which helps with my arthritis and carpal tunnel. There are many brands of Omega 3 on the market, but it is most important that it be made from deep-sea, coldwater fish. I don't know why, but have read this a million times. These softgels are made from just that, also mercury free. And since Omega 3 is something your body does not make naturally, it is another essential supplement."

"I hate taking fish oil because of the after taste and the disgusting burps. After reading the reviews for this one, I decided to give it a try because I know Omegas are great for you. These are easy to swallow, the serving size is great, and they don't upset my stomach. Unfortunately I do burp quite a bit after taking these and it tastes like strawberry fish. The combination is awful, and it makes me queasy! Yuck! Maybe I am just sensitive to fish oil?"
