"It's protein powder, in an isolate form. 3lbs is pretty cheap, has a nice AA complex but they use sucralose (splenda) to sweeten it. I wish they had an unsweetened version. Otherwise, it's not bad. I don't feel like it's as effective as Biochem's protein isolate, and doesn't mix as well, but Biochem's is also more expensive."

"Wish it had natural sweeteners. Otherwise this is a great product with a great flavor and a cheap substitution for the higher priced ISO's. Play around with the amount of milk/ice/powder ratio as it plays a huge factor in the taste. That might explain why so many reviews dislike the taste of this stuff. I use 8oz milk to 1/2C crushed ice to 3 scoops of powder. Toss in half a banana and 3 strawberries."

"I was suprised by the taste it was a great vanilla flavor it didn't taste like alot of other products i have tried. If you are serious about losing weight this product is right for you. "I highly recommend this powder. I'm constantly trying inexpensive protein powders and there's usually some problem like poor mixability, not enough protein per scoop, or worst of all, bad taste... but not this powder. Specs are excellent (50g protein, <1g fat, 1g carbs). I use 2 scoops (instead of the recommended 3) to get more out of the jug, which mixes a LITTLE thin, but I don't mind because I've also got some clearance powder from a vitamin store that is so thick I can barely use 1 scoop... and when inbetween meals or late night, I do not want a heavy shake! Also the taste is decent, not a very strong flavor, but I don't mind because I've found that strong flavors that seem good at first, become very annoying over time, like another clearance powder I bought. In fact, I've mainly been using this NSI powder to mix with those other powders so I don't throw them out! Can't wait until they're finished so I can just use the NSI."

"This is a great drink after a workout. The Vanilla and Double Rich Chocolate are my favorite. Most protein drinks are nasty, but these are truly great.
