"It's been said already, but this doesn't give you a close shave. It's too watery, and doesn't really protect the skin. I don't really have sensitive skin, but after shaving my legs with this I do experience some stinging. Also, it gets stuck in my razor and is hard to clean off. JASON brand shaving lotion is way superior to this; just a shame since this smells nice!"

"The smell is wonderful. And I normally love the Alba Botanica products. But, I felt like I was applying a thick hair conditioner to my legs. The first time I felt I needed to press extra hard to get through the thick layer of shave cream which resulted in razor burn on my legs. And that was after following their instructions on applying a thin layer too. Also, it doesn't rinse clean. My razor got dulled after the 3rd use from all the buildup left behind from this shave cream. Including the dead skincells that come off from shaving. My razor just wouldn't rinse clean. I really wanted this to work, because I've read the back labels of the store-bought shave creams, and they have toxic looking ingredients. This Alba Shave cream sounded delicious. Unfortunately, I will not be buying this again."

"This is a pretty good shaving cream. After reading the reviews, I bought both this product and the Kiss My Face Shave product. I prefer the Kiss My Face for my legs because it lathers better and the shave is smoother. My husband likes the Alba (aloe mint scent) for shaving his face. It didn't cause ingrowns on his african-american coarse hair nor cause him to break out on his sensitive, acne-prone skin."
