"This product it, without question, the best peanut better I've ever had. My wife and I are fairly discriminating, and don't like the taste, sugar content and hydrogenated oils of national brands or the over-roasted flavor and coarse texture of many 'natural' butters. This one has a great combo of texture - - very smooth and creamy - and taste. Plus, its made from valencia peanuts, which are grown in arid climates where the plants accrue less mold during growth than regular peanuts that are gown in humid southern climes."

"**This is LONG but please read it all -- I address some previous reviewer's problems.
I have tried a TON of natural peanut butter -- eaten it more than that conventional junk you find in most grocery stores -- and this is one of the BEST I have ever had. I would say it's actually tied with another for the #1 spot.
One of the biggest downfalls/turn offs/deterrents to natural peanut butter (to ANY natural nut butter) is how hard and MESSY it is to STIR it! It's a DREAM to stir this PB up, compared to most other natural PB. Despite the oil separation, it's not hard or in a solid block like almost EVERY OTHER natural PB out there. When it's like that, it's SO messy and disgusting to first mix it up. And takes a good 10-20 mins. to do. This PB, though, is easily homogenized with just several turns of the knife.
The unusual softness of the PB, I believe, is what allows others to pour the oil off without suffering any negative consequences. (As just mentioned, most other nut butters are in a solid block before stirring and are pretty much unusable WITHOUT the oil mixed in, as they will STAY a solid block and completely unspreadable.) However, you DON'T need to pour the oil out! A few reviewers complained about the thin consistency of the PB. That is a problem which can easily be fixed by simply sticking the jar in the fridge! It SAYS on the jar that is must be *refrigerated after opening* and stirring. This will keep the PB at the perfect spreading consistency. Most other natural PB will become HARD in the fridge and need to be left out to soften a little. If you have an aversion to cold PB, then I suppose you can do what others have done -- pour the oil out and leave it in the pantry.
This PB is also aptly named -- it's creamy!
Another thing I love about this PB, as another reviewer mentioned, is that it comes in a glass jar. I'm sure I don't need to tell you all that plastic's chemical components and toxins are leeched into the foods they hold. And the more acidic and/or oily a food is, the more easily/readily those toxins are leeched so PB in plastic is a big no-no. I like to buy this company's larger-sized 26 oz. container (of their non-organic PB) and reuse it for storage) of grains, beans, and flours).
I cannot see how one could be disappointed with this PB. If you're not used to NATURAL PB, it will take a while to adjust to the taste of pure PB, with no added sugar. But this is the PB I would recommend to those making the switch. And, if you've tried natural PB before and been disappointed, feel secure that you will NOT be with this one."

"Arrowhead Mills offers a great product. No fillers, no sugar, no added oils. Of course when buying a natural peanut butter, you will be required to STIR. Several reviewers mentioned pouring off the extra oil. Personally, I like the peanut butter a bit loose so I stir it all in. Makes it easier to scoop or spread. My only "complaint" (and its a tiny complaint) is that this brand is a teeny bit gritty. Maranatha is my #1 pick for smoothness."

"Great tasting peanut butter with no junky unhealthy fillers, I will continue to order this! It is oily (mm I like to eat the oil when nobody is looking!) so do as other reviewers mentioned and pour the oil out or into another container so you can stir some back in as needed.
