"I have been using the oral Celadrin and love it too! An NPR talk show on joint pain mentioned this product, the topical Celadrin. I made a purchase to use personally and also in my massage practice. "I have a lot of joint pain, particularly my knees, and nothing has ever helped them before. Celadrin is surprisingly effective in pain relief. I bought it after reading about a study done on knee pain, which found that people who used it regularly twice daily, whether having current pain or not, experienced 40% less pain over those who used it only occasionally, and after using it for a while I have found that to be true. Any time I skip about 3 regular applications, my pain worsens until I get back on track. This particular brand and type of Celadrin is very reasonably priced, and the cream is not too thick, very comfortable to use. My husband used Celadrin cream on his knee after his knee replacement surgery (not on the incision site) and found it to be very helpful, too. I would recommend this Celadrin product to anyone with joint pain!"

"This is the review I wrote for the softgels, but it all started with this WONDERFUL cream. I was not too thrilled with it's scent (menthol), but the relief in pain made up for it (until the softgels were put on the market.) Try the cream first before you try the softgels too see if it works for you:) It's cost effect that way;) "Celadrin allows me to be a normal person without joint pain. I have osteoarthritis and have broken bones throughout my body. I'm in my early 40's. Walking was painful for me and I had a hard time holding on to things with my hands. I first heard of Celadrin on the health report on KCAL 9 in Los Angeles, CA. It promised freedom from joint pain, works within 30-40 minutes and has no side effects. I was skeptical as the next person about this product at first. I didn't purchase the NSI product at first. I actually tried the cream from Avon (believe it or not,) but it didn't do anything for me. So I replayed the segment on the KCAL website and tracked down NSI at Vitacost. At the time of my first purchase, only the topical cream was available. I covered only half of my "effected" body to see if there was a difference. Within twenty minutes, the daily pain that I was experiencing was practically gone on my left side (that I had covered with the cream.) I was going to continue just coating one side for a week to make sure that it wasn't just a placebo effect, but after three days, I was satisfied with it and applied it to my right side. I have been living with much greater ease with Celadrin topical cream, along with the softgels. I am much more functional and move like a normal person since using this product. I haven't grown any extra apendages or anything, after using this product for over a year. For me, walking is a pleasure again and I can grip things with my hands (I was only able to make a fist before.) I've recommended this product to all the people I know with joint pain and they have been happy with the results too. It's definitely worth a try if you suffer from chronic joint pain. As you can tell, I was pleasantly surprised. And by the way, I don't need to pump myself full of ibuprofen to get throught the day and night anymore.""
