"I have heard so much about the antiseptic qualities of tea tree, that when I delveloped a stubborn, very irritating seasonal rash on my shin it was the first product I searched this website for. Having dry, sensitive skin I was a little concerned after reading reviews on other brands that tea tree can be drying, but having already used 4 of the Dr. Bronner's liquid soaps (and loving the exceptional quality from this company) I decided on this brand - it didn't disappoint. The soap is very gentle with loads of silky lather. The scent is not the least bit overpowering - a pleasant pine and hemp scent. My skin felt very smooth and nourished, no dry tight feeling at all. Much to my surprise, my rash was not red and inflamed after a shower as it usually is after coming in contact with hot water. No redness or itching at all - just very soothing to the affected area. Highly recommended."

"I live in Utah where the winters are cold and dry and the water is hard. I was plagued with a red, itchy rash on my face all last winter. One week of using Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree Soap and the rash was gone. I will buy this soap again and again!"

"I like this soap. It's good.
I would contrast it with Burt's Bees soap in that this soap does leave you feeling a bit more dryer. Bbees makes my skin feel softer or more moist. But the Dr. B's soap gives me a nice clean feel too."

"We buy a bar of tea tree soap to keep as a bathroom staple. I like to use this when I have skin irritations. My son uses it for a hair shampoo because he likes the way it smells and "bubbles up so much".
I really enjoy the concepts that are etched all over the bottle."

"This is the first time I've used this brand, and I really love how it lathers and cleans! The tea tree oil smell takes a little getting used to. It reminds me of Pine Sol, haha! I think I'll get a different kind next time. I also like how big the bar is. It lasts quite a while."

"This is an all natural truly organic soap so of course it will cost more than soap made from animal fats. If you care about what goes on your body- use Dr. Bronner's. The tea tree scent is not for everyone (I love how it keeps my skin clear) I get the lavender for my sister and the rose for my mother. I used to hate bar soaps but this one has changed my mind."

Our "summer" soap,October 9, 2008
By Flannery
"This particular scent is our favorite for the summer. Generous suds rinse away the sticky sweat of our humid deep south. The tea tree seems to heal mosquito bites and other "itchies" faster than they would on their own. A very wake-me-up, clean scent that is completely unisex."

"This product really cleans my body like no other soap before! The scent isn't too strong, which I like but you can definitely smell the tea tree oil in it. I used this bar of soap as a shampoo as well and it cleaned my hair excellent. My hair and skin didn't feel dried out after using it and I didn't have to use a lot to get a good lather...This soap definitely has many usages: I used mine as a body soap, face soap, shampoo, and even used it to create a foot soak. I love this stuff! I'd definitely re-buy it and refer it to a friend."

"In my opinion, Dr. Bronner's is the very best soap around for general bathing. It has a low toxin score on the EWG site so I know it's safe for me and my family. I like all of the scents available, and I like being able to choose different scents from time to time. The tea tree scent is pleasant to me but my daughter does not care for it as much. The lather on these bar soaps is remarkable. I've tried many brands of the healthier bar soaps but none can match Dr. Bronner's lather."
