"My cousin told me about this protein powder that she just loves. I ordered it and was very glad that I did! It has a really wonderful creamy vanilla taste, and mixes very well in a shaker or a glass stirred with a spoon. I really love mixing it in a blender with a small amount of fresh or frozen berries! Bitter and Stinky but does the job,October 19, 2009

"I read all the reviews raving about the flavor of this powder, and I needed something with no carbs to kick start a weight loss program, so I tried it. I absolutely choked the first time I made a shake with this stuff and could hardly make myself swallow it. It was bitter, smelled bad, and made a shake that the foam separated from the liquid, like beaten egg white sitting on top of fruit flavored dish water. YUK!
I was determined, so I experimented with it, mixed one scoop of this powder with 1/2 scoop of Nature's Plus Simply Natural Spirutein and Crystal Lite, and blended it all with ice. The Spirutein adds some carbs, but it kind of glues everything together so it doesn't separate into foam and water so much, and I can swallow it without gagging. It is still bitter, though.
Instant coffee sweetened with Splenda (lots of Splenda!) masks the bad flavor better than the fruit flavors do. Cocoa probably would work well, too, but I haven't tried that because it adds carbs that I'm avoiding.
I would love to find a protein shake with a better flavor, but I'm still drinking this one every morning. So, I would recommend it to a friend looking for a high protein low carb shake, but I would warn her about the texture and flavor and ask her to let me know if she found a better tasting one."

"I've tried a lot of different protein powders, this one tops them all. I easily gag and get grossed out with protein shakes that are too thick or have overpowering taste. The vanilla is just right, not too much, and not too little.
Isopure makes awesome protein mix. You can mix it with water, or milk. I use it with milk to add a little extra protein, and hey, milk is good for you!
The powder mixes very well, I RARELY have chunks of powder in my cup. You will not regret purchasing this.
This product is straight-forward, no gimmicks or trying to have an extreme image for mega muscles, etc. I'm curious to see how the new Mint flavored protein tastes. I will never buy another protein powder again.

"I rated this four stars and would recommend it because of the protein content and the high quality and bioavailability of the protein type (100% whey protein isolate), but the taste is NASTY (it has a weird saltiness) and the texture is both thin and gritty when mixed with water in a shaker cup. The kindest description I can give of the vanilla flavor is that it tastes like baking soda to me...
I try to stick to whey protein isolates as my protein supplement and Isopure is an excellent source, so I would definitely buy the Perfect Zero Carb powders again despite my complaints about flavor and texture. However, I will try Isopure's other flavors next time and will only go back to the vanilla if they are even worse!"
