"There are very few protein powders which are unflavored - no sweeteners artificial or otherwise. I use protein to mix in with other foods and do not want the other flavors. This product tastes good, clean without any artificial flavors. And the price was quite reasonable purchased in quantity."

"My husband and I have tried many brands of whey protein over the years. I first purchased this through a Groupon and was very pleased. We get the natural flavor and it literally blends into whatever shake we are making with no artificial taste. I love that the ingredients in this are simple as we are trying to eat a more wholesome, clean diet. Many other brands have lots of artificial flavorings or sweeteners. Jarrow's is the best and the only one we buy now. I highly recommend it!"

"I like this because it is JUST whey protein, I can add flavorings and sweeteners of my choice - according to my taste. The first time I went to GNC to shop for protein powder I was absolutely appalled at the horrific ingredients they were putting in there - aspartame, sucrolose, artificial flavors/colors, unpronouncable chemicals, over-processed everything; the list could go on, but they were loaded with things I wouldn't DREAM of putting in my body, especially when I'm trying to get HEALTHY. This product I love; it dissovles well, isn't grainy, is smooth, and lends no off flavors at all. I'll continue to buy and use this product as my protein powder of choice!"

"I love everything about this product but the taste. I was trying to cut a little sugar and thought I would try the unflavoured version in lieu of my regular vanilla flavour. However it came across as really bitter to me. I could taste this "bitter" flavour through my peanut butter, banana and cocoa shake. Perhaps though, I have just been spoiled by the vanilla version of the same product that I have been using for a couple years now. I highly recommend Jarrow for their quality products I just don't like the taste of this one. It doesn't taste like "nothing"."

Finally found the perfect protein powder

"I've been hunting for an affordable protein powder with no vitamins, sweeteners, or artificial anything. It's been harder than I thought it should be. This powder is it. Just plain whey isolate protein powder. As a bonus, they don't get their whey from milk with bovine growth hormones, something I hadn't even thought about until I had the container in my hands.
The powder dissolves fairly well, though I recommend using a blender bottle. It tastes a bit like powdered milk--too strongly, though. In the morning, I mix it with water and unsweetened cocoa (yeah, I know, weird, but I love chocolate and am cutting way back on sugar), and that's my breakfast. I've also used it in fruit smoothies; the flavor is completely masked in that case. I tried it in pineapple juice, because pineapple juice is great at masking flavors, and it was good in that as well, though I'd rather avoid the sweetness of juice.
You only need one scoop, too. Other powders that are about this same price for two pounds require two scoops for a serving, automatically making them twice the price per serving."

"I received and immediately started using Jarrow Whey Protein Unflavored on Nov 06 2012.
On opening the jar I was pleasantly surprised with the appetizing natural smell akin to milk powder - unlike the chemical and artificial smell of other whey proteins.
The taste was also pleasantly milky and I enjoy drinking it unflavored without the addition of anything else. I bring my dose to the gym and shake it with about 5oz of water. It mixes well enough after some vigorous shaking of the container.
I will continue to use this product although its still early days for me to give an account of the benefits to my body. I enjoy drinking it and will definitely recommend it to all my friends."

"We use this protein in our family for breakfast smoothies. It blends well and virtually has no taste. So combine it with a half or whole banana, cup of milk, 2 tbs of PB2 (fat free dried peanut butter) and some crush ice for a great breakfast on the go."
