Protects Liver Function. Milk Thistle in Latin is Silyburn marianum. this 30:1 concentrate is standardized to contain 80% Silymarin from Milk Thistle seeds. Silymarin is composed of three flavonoids: primarly Silybin and minor amounts of Silydianin and Silychristin , which support liver function by raising protective glutathione levels. "This is a great product & the price is good. I have tried many brands but find the standardized is most reliable. I believe that EVERYONE needs some liver support with all of the 'additives' to our food, water, & everyday products we use, no mater how careful we are."

low cost way to cleanse liver, May 17, 2008

"Other options for cleansing the liver sounded horrible but this is easy. I'm taking three a day for two months and then one a day after that. It also seems to function as a colonic cleanser: who knew?"

"We use this to clean our liver before and after drinking. Really helps curb or eliminate a hangover. Great price here also."
