Rich in Omega-3 EPA and DHA. Wild salmon is a healthier choice than farmed salmon, which is often found to contain higher antibiotic, PCB and dioxin levels. Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, wild salmon oil has a naturally occurring ratio EPA to DHA. Wild salmon is a better environmental choice too as salmon farms pollute coastal waters. The oil is extracted from already harvested salmon using fish parts that would otherwise be wasted, thereby conserving existing stocks. Natural Factors Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil is regularly tested for chemical residue and heavy metals to ensure a safe and pure source of fish oil. . . All Natural Factors products are manufatured in accordance with the Government of Cananda's Good Manufaturing Praticies (GMP), among the highest standards in the world.

"This seems to be a very good product. Better than several others I've tried. No lemon like or other sneaky additives thrown in that just seem to repeat on you. Just wild caught, distilled pure salmon oil."

"Although I have been taking this product for a short time, I am impressed with the quality of the salmon oil. There is no fishy after taste, and I like that it is from wild caught rather than farmed raised salmon. I'll stick with this one."

"First off I don't know how you rate fish oil or prove how effective it is. I've been taking this product several weeks now and have not had any adverse effects from it. I do frequently get some fishy after taste, but nothing that has turned me against it. I will probably continue to use it at least until my next blood chemistry test. If that proves to be ok I'll continue. I do believe it is important to make sure you get sufficient omega 3 in your diet, and this is an economical way to do it."

"We buy salmon oil for our dogs. Since taking the supplement, their coats are very shiny and no skin problems. I particularly like the fact that the company supports the sustainable use of wild salmon and uses fish parts that would otherwise be wasted."

"The first thing you notice about these supplements is their rich orange color compared to some other salmon oils. This coloration tends to indicate high levels of the beneficial antioxidant astaxanthin. Wild salmon is known to contain more omega-3s and significantly less carcinogenic contaminants such as PCBs and dioxin than farmed salmon. In addition, wild salmon are free of the dyes and antibiotics that are given to salmon on farms. Personally, I like knowing that taking these supplements does not contribute to the serious environmental damage caused by salmon farms. Taking them I feel great, both physically and ethically."

"I felt good about purchasing this product, knowing that it was made using efficient and clean methods and that the salmon was wild. I take one a day and so does my husband with dinner. Sometimes I notice a small fishy taste if I burp something up, but it's not that big of a deal. I drink calming (chamomile, ie) tea at night anyway so that helps and often times I don't even notice the taste at all."

"Hello...I purchased the Natural Factors Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil -- 1000 mg - 180 Softgels for my four Golden Retrievers, after reading of the benefits of it for them on an Internet list. Since they are for humans as well, I began taking them. The dogs coats glisten and my skin is not so dry now. Can't say that I actually have a coat and my hair isn't as pretty as my dogs! Other than the occasional sound of the music from Jaws that emanates from the bottle, I LOVE this product. Each dog gets one capsule in the a.m. and p.m., likewise for me. There you go!"

"I feel that this is a good value compared to other fish oil costs out there, and this will last you about 3 months if you take 1-3 per day. It works well (I can feel it) with all the benefits that salmon oil does for a person. So far the best fish oil I've found. Once in awhile I get a fishy burp (after taste) but it's rare and not bad at all."
