"First of all, this is the smallest vitamin ever.... which is great if you have trouble swallowing pills. The price is unbelievable! My co-worker and I share the bottle. I have noticed that my nails and hair are stronger."

"I found out about the importance of Vitamin D through an e-mail from our doctor. Most of us don't get enough sun in the winter, so we have Vitamin D deficiency which leads to colds, flu, and many other general health problems. The recommended daily amount is not nearly high enough, so these supplements really help."

"I recently had a D3 test done to find that I was low in this vitamin. My naturopath recommended 2000 to 3000mg a day. I was taking them in 400 unit pills until I found these at 2000 mg! There are more studies coming out all the time about all the benefits of supplementing with Vit. D, especially if you live in the north where there is less sun."

"Vitamin D is perhaps the best supplement you can take and I am really into this !!! It gives 50% + protection from a variety of cancers: colorectal, breast, etc. as well as other key health functions. If you live north of Atlanta as I do in NY, you do not get any from the UV rays from the sun all of the fall and winter months. In addition we should all take the D3 version. Since I consider 4000 to 5000 IU per day to be the right dosage for me, this product provides D3 in a large convenient dosage combined in a very small liquid gel cap which is superior to dry by a known and trusted supplier."

"For anyone who lives in North America, you can't get enough Vit. D, especially in the winter!

Considering scientists are only beginning to crack the code of how this vitamin is used by our bodies, it is vitally important for us to get more than just the minimum.

Our physician has recommended my husband take 2000 iu per day to help with depression. He varies that according to the season but it really helps level his moods.

I always buy Carlson when possible since they make only pharmaceutical grade nutrients!"

"Bloodwork showed vit D deficiency and I was instructed to take a supplement. After 3 months taking a Carlson 2000 iu tablet daily, my levels had risen to well within the optimal range. Good stuff. The pills are small and easy to swallow."
