"As part of an anti-cholesterol plus other regimens it's very effective. It's pure and salmon oil doesn't repeat like other oils. Salmon oil doesn't antagonize gout."

"I bought this product for supplement my cats' diets and provide them with extra omega fatty acids. I puncture the capsules and squirt it into their food and then mix the capsule in too (they eat it with no problems - if anything, it gives them a little chewing exercise which is good for their teeth)."

"I regularly take 4 caps a day; two at breakfast two at lunch. The best results I have gotten with this product is in the reduction of dry skin and a drop in my use of toilet paper (without getting too graphic - not the frequency but the amount that needs to be cleaned up).

The quality of the product is excellent. It is easy to take and they have never broken on me (other brand have and it is a mess).

The only drawback I have found is the caps do not like heat above 85-90 degrees. They get very soft and sticky so keep them away from heat (like in the car in the summer).

I highly recommend this product anyone looking for a fish oil supplement."

"These pills have some of the highest omega 3s out of all the fish oil pills. Sure there are other fish oils in the pills, but if brings up the omega 3 content, then I don't care. A little bit of an after taste during the day but not enough to gag you. I continue to buy them."

"I have been buying my salmon fish oil locally and it was 100% salmon and left no fishy aftertaste. However this Carlson Labs Norweigian Salmon had a fishy aftertaste. Quoting from the label it clearly says "*May contain up to 30% other fish oils for highe EPA and DHA potency." I wanted to be sure I quoted that exactly. Other fish oils usually mean sardines and mackerel etc. Why not just put in 30% or more salmon oil to increase the potency!

I love VitaCost, but this one slipped through. It is the first item I am returning and my last order totalled $363.17 However, if you like a fishy aftertaste, go right ahead and buy this Norweigian Salmon Oil.

"This product healed my severe case of eczema that had affected my hands. I purchased it for heart health, and was amazed when my painfully sore, split hands healed after one week. That was 4 years ago and I've never had a recurrence of the problem.

I now take six per day and my triglycerides have dropped from 70 to 40.

This is truly an amazing product."
