"I was taking the "un-natural" form of this product b/c I didn't realize that there was a "natural" one which makes more sense to take. Absorption is key w/whey proteins and this one fits the bill. It tastes good even mixed w/water."

"I read others reviews and decided to give ON Natural Chocolate protein a try. I was so disappointed! It really does not have a strong chocolate flavor, and it's not very sweet either. I tried mixing in a teaspoon or 2 of cocoa powder,but that really didn't help. I will stick with Iron Tek Essential Natural Chocolate Fudge protein. It is a million times better tasting. I wasted my money, don't waste yours!"

"Both my wife and I use Optimum Nutrition Protein products. My wife uses this one and has for 3 years as her breakfast and as a meal replacement or snack. She prefers, as I do, the natural based products that do not contain artificial sugars. We believe that these products are of good quality and we are pleased with the taste, the nutritional benefits, and overall value. I use these products primarily before and during workouts, and before bedtime. We have not experienced any side effects that you normally experience from low quality protein, like gas, upset stomach, hard to dissolve, and bad taste. Not only is this a good product, but the price here is very reasonable."

"I had been buying the natural vanilla for awhile and decided just to try the chocolate and the chocolate is way better! It's just the right amount of sweetness. The vanilla had hardly any taste. Mixes great with yogurt and makes it taste like icecream! I will stick to the chocolate from now on!"

"First, the taste. I don't know why some people say it tastes bland, dull, or plain etc etc. Look the stuff tastes delicious. Yes delicious and not too sweet like the ON Chocolate Regular version and not too plain like the pure 100% whey. Although this may be subjective again, everybody in family likes the taste so it's not only I that agree.
Now the ingredients. You get 24g of protein per serving without sucralose and aspartame, the chemicals that use to give me stomachaches and headaches. I researched whey protein products online for 2 days and am quite satisfied with ON Whey Natural Chocolate. The sugar used in this product is STEVIA, a substance extracted from a South American plant, "Stevia rebaudiana." Your body does not metabolize sweet glycosides from the stevia in its processed forms so no caloric intake will occur. Your blood glucose levels will not be affected as well and it can freely be used by diabetics. People, we have Stevia/ natural sweetener in this Whey Protein jar, what a blessing! Safe and secure.

"What I like best about this product is no artificial sweeteners like the standard gold products from ON. Anything that list Sucrolose, Aspartame or Acesulfame potassium (Ace K) is the fake stuff and should be avoided since they have possible side effects such as destruction of good bacteria in the intestinal tract. This product also mixes well and taste great. I add a teaspoon of organic cinnamon to give it a little spark."

"This is, by far, the best tasting Whey mix anywhere, period. The Natural Chocolate mixed with unsweetened chocolate almond milk is so good, even this kids like it. It is actually good enough to sip when mixed with the right liquid. The vanilla isn't bad, but the Natural Chocolate is the best.
I have used this product for years. I can actually sneak some protein into my childrens diet! They love it for a chaser after breakfast. Try it. You won't be sorry.

"I've been an exclusing ON whey user for about 3 years, but had never ventured away from Double-rich Chocolate until recently.
While I actually like the subtler, more "true cocoa" flavor of this variety a little better, I almost gave it 4 stars instead of 5...it lacks all the extra aminos of the Double-Rich flavor, and it also has 5 fewer servings per container. These are small differences, but you have to REALLY want the "natural" aspect of this to choose it over the other. I'll be going back to Double-Rich again, but it was still worth trying.
ON makes great whey all around!"
