"These Omega 3 capsules have worked very well for my son. He couldn't stand the taste of chewable capsules - we tried a bunch of brands. After teaching my son to swallow capsules (mini M&Ms and cheerios helped), these were the perfect size for him to swallow. No more complaints!"

My Son Doesn't Like the Taste, May 13, 2009

"I purchased this supplement because I had hoped the lemon flavored capsules would appeal to my 6-year old son, who likes citrus flavors. However, I was disappointed to discover that my son DID NOT like the taste of these capsules. He even gagged at the taste of them, as he tried to chew them because he hasn't mastered the swallowing technique. The ingredients are great, but because of my son's reaction to the taste, I won't be buying them again. Personally, when I tasted them I thought the flavor was so-so."

"My kids like these better than other comparable supplements, and two actually remind me to give them to them. My oldest doesn't like the 'pop and squirt' (biting the capsule and oil squirting out) so she just swallows them whole."

"My 9-year-old son is a V ERY picky kid. He never batted an eye with these. He bites them in his mouth and then sucks all the fluid out, spits the shell in the sink and walks off....that's it! I've never mentioned anything other than they are a daily vitamin he needs to take and he's even reminded me that I haven't given them to him. My 5-year-old won't chew them, so I poke a hole in the and squeeze it out in her juice and she drinks it. None of them have complained about the taste and this is huge for them. Will keep buying."

"I purchased this product because of the 3 types of omegas and the great lemon/less fishy taste for my boys. The gel caps are not really "chewable". My kids squish the liquid out (or I cut them and squish the liquid out myself) into their mouth or juice. you can't taste anything bad, so that is good. I might buy again. Not sure. Good nutritional value for sure!"

"These are a great way to get omegas into your kids. My twin 10 year old boys have been taking them for a year now and they either swallow them (easily) or chew them. The fish taste does not bother them, but they prefer to swallow because they are small enough to do so easily."

"It's so hard to buy things for kids because if it doesn't taste good or isn't easy to take, you're wasting money and wasting products. That didn't happen with these Omega 3- 6- 9. I even tried them and I love the flavor. They have been a huge difference for my kids mental clarity and thinking."

"I got these fish oil caps for my 9 year old son because our doctor recommended them to improve concentration and brain function. The gel caps are small enough for him to swallow with no trouble. Do not be fooled by the "chewable" tag however. They taste like fish oil - even with the lemon flavor added. We ahve tried several forms, and this is the easiest for him to take and has no after taste."

"The casing on these is inedible & a lemonish flavor oil squirts out & faint fishy taste. Nasty! the lemon irritated my throat. My son spit his out. Will have to have him swallow these."
