Great for cracked skin
 November 15, 2013
"I received a freebie of this from Burt's Bees a while ago and just got around to trying it. It is the relief I've been searching for when it comes to my dry, cracked winter hands. Regular hand lotions are just temporary solutions... but if I put some of this stuff on at bedtime, the improvement is noticeable when I wake up the next morning. Cracks are healed, skin feels great. It is a greasy product and it smells strongly of menthol/eucalyptus, so I only use it at night, but that's fine by me."

photo is deceiving...

"This is a very small container of hand salve--think lip gloss size. Although it's good stuff, don't expect to get many uses from this container size. Seems so small it's silly--unless you just want to sample it."

Great, portable hand salve
 January 4, 2011
"I like this little tin of different smelling product. It's small enough to tote around with me, in a tiny purse if needed. I can't stand to notice in public that I may have dried cuticles or knuckles or elbows, so that's what I use it for. It can give a nice little shine to your natural nails too. You don't have to keep reapplying it. It has lasted me forever.
I don't appreciate products that are masked in perfume. This is a salve; a more natural, nourishing product that perfumed lotion. Plus I can't use fragrance on my skin anyway. I don't mind the smell. I mostly notice the rosemary and eucalyptus. If you don't generally like the smell of those eseential oils, perhaps you would not like the smell of this product.
I do think guys would be okay with the smell, size, and container. I can't see a guy toting around a large bottle of moisturizer. Plus again, this is a hand salve - a little goes a long way."

It's ok
 December 31, 2010
"I love burt bee's products. However, I felt this item was ok. It's a VERY small tin of what looks like hair grease. It was work efficiently, however it won't last long. The fact that it's in a small tin is strange as well. It does have a strong menthol odor... which gives the sense that it's medicated although it's not. This is why it's great to apply before going to bed. Overall, it's ok. I won't purchase it again."

Not the worst...
 April 15, 2009
"Well, I'd never tried Burts Bees hand creme products, so thought I'd try this. It might help someone's hands, but I found it to be a little greasy.
This is a very small tin of salve as well - I would definitely NOT repurchase it. Right now, the best use for it is to use it like I would Mentholatum, because that is also exactly what this smells like. Personally, I like hand items to smell good, and this one definitely fails.
I think this one is best left for the men, but men would probably have no patience for the little tin (about the size of a half dollar). All in all, I can't recommend this product. The ingredients are fine, but I don't like the way it feels or smells."

A little goes a long way
 September 15, 2008
"In my old job, my hands were made very dry & I kept a tin of this on hand at work. A little bit rubbed on to the backs of my hands went a long way to heal the dry & cracked skin. Great for winter skin as well."
