"Not only does this natural product give you soft, supple, dewy lips, the shimmery champagne color is just gorgeous! I'm a very pale English lass, and this color is perfect for me. It's fairly sheer, and adds just the right amount of coverage, without looking gloopy or heavy. I hope they NEVER stop making this wonderful product!"

"OK, I have chronic dry, chapped lips. I've gone through every brand of chapsticks and lip balm all my life, and when I wear popular lipstick like Maybelline, Revlon and what not, I always had to smother them with gloss in hopes to keep them moisturized and yet by the end of the day my lips would just start to peel. THIS product, ladies, is a GODSEND to me. Sure, it's light, and it's more of a tinted chapstick than a "lipstick". It does not stay on super long, but I never expected it too. But this lip shimmer conditions and soothes my lips like they never were chapped or dry! Whenever my lips are chapped, I keep this lipshimmer on for an entire day (and night!) and the next day my lips feel much, much better. I have this product in nearly every color available, but I use this shade very frequently, alongside "Watermelon" and "Fig". "Champagne" has a light, natural pinkish shimmer and it's nearly colorless. I wear it alone for a natural look, but also often mix it with other shades when I want to lighten the color."

"This was just ok for me, nothing spectacular. I thought the color would be more "champagne" colored but it is actually a light wash of pink shimmer. I will probably not reorder this."

"My 84 year old neighbor and I both find Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer a wonderful, moisturizing product that stays on fairly well. The Champagne lightens up lipstick that is too dark and softens lips as well. We like the slim size. It fits well in small purses. We plan to use more of the colors."

"This stuff is great!! I use it daily several times a day. You can use this champagne color if you just want the "feeling" of it or use one of the colored varieties if you need color. "Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer has almost replaced my regular lip balm. It gives my lips shine with subtle color, which is perfect for summer, on its own, and will be just as nice in winter, over lipstick. The minty application stings a little (similar to DuWop's Lip Venom), but it quickly calms down into a delicious tingle that reminds me my lips are looking luscious. The Lip Shimmers go on smooth and stay soft and moisturizing. I have purchased Shimmers in Rhubarb, Nutmeg, Fig, Papaya, Merlot, and Raisin. Finally, I am impressed that this product has been tested by the Environmental Work Group and found to be safe. If you can read, pronounce, and understand all the ingredients in a skincare product, it has to be a good thing, and Burt's Bees has signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics. All around 5 stars. I just wish Vitacost.com sold more of the colors available, since the price is so good here."

"I love this stuff. Burt Bee's makes great natural products but this lip shimmer is one of my favorites. Great value for the price and feels better on the lips than a lot of costly department store brands."
