Better than hair dye you buy at the drugstore.

"I have very fine hair and the drugstore hair-dye makes it feel like straw. "Naturtint Permanent Hair Color" is gentler, color last a lot longer, and it leaves my hair feeling soft and healthy. This is the only hair dye I use. Also, I am recomending it to all my friends."

"I have no idea where other reviewers claim that this product is low odor. The odor is very strong, offensive and lasts for a few days. That can't be healthy no matter what the "natural" ingredients are. It also stains your scalp pretty dramatically if you leave it on for the recommended time of 30 minutes. Be prepared to use some sort of organic stain remover immediately if you happen to drip some on your skin. "Just For Men" will do the same job in about 10 minutes, with a lot less odor and cleanup. Seems like less exposure time would reduce the toxicity factor anyway. I don't recommend this product and I'm sure sorry I bought eight of them at a shot."

"Naturtint is my favorite hair color treatment. The 1N Ebony is black, but not so black to look unatural. The best part is that after using it, I do not experience hair loss or tangle as much as grocery story hair color. And, the best part is that my hair feels soft and lush....lasts about 3 weeks....easy on the scalp too....to stinging. I order several at a time.."

"I've been using the black color for over three years. Naturtint works best if you don't shampoo your hair for at least three to four days before each application. It took several tries before I realized that. It's the best product out there to cover the greys without major harmful chemicals."

"This product did not cover my color resistant grey for more than a few days. I started to see grey sparkle at the very root of my greys within 3 days of coloring even before I washed my hair. This is typical for me despite any type of hair color I use. I used the product less than 3 weeks ago and I could go for root touch up already -- my grey hair is VERY resistant to color."

"I use Naturtint about every 2 to 3 months to cover grey hair. After 4 years of continuous use I still love this product line. The color process is really gentle on my hair, and with quality color protective shampoo the color lasts for almost 2 months for me. The ebony black is really true to color, and gives great lasting results. I definitely recommend it!"

"up to now i've been using natural instincts and have been looking for a hair color with fewer chemicals. this is the first time i've used herbatint and so far i'm pleased. it lacks the harsh ammonia smell of other products and seems just as effective. it's been less than a week since i've used the product, so i can't say how long it lasts. that's why i've given it an average rating thus far. will update my rating upon my next purchase. i WILL purchase again because it seems much less harsh than the natural instincts i've been using."

"I have used this product the last three times I have dyed my hair and I really love it. During the dye process, the product does not have a strong or unpleasant smell. It also works like a charm. I have greys that tend to refuse dye and but not with this product. Plus it leaves my hair looking healthy and shiny. I couldn't recommend it more highly."
