"I am currently on atkins, and it was so great to find a low carb bean that I can use adn still adhere to my diet. This product is great, it takes on the flavor of whatever you cool with them, very flexible, several things you can do with them, refried beans, bean soup, chili, just beans, dips, ect. I love them so much and vita cost is so great this is my second order just for the beans."

"From what I have read black soy is "it" so far as beans are concerned. Color is an indicator of nutrients, and black is all colors in one, so more bang for the bean. Black soy hull is said to be good for the eyesight. Also, this variety is said to be more digestible than yellow soy, if you know what I mean."

"These are the PERFECT substitute for "regular" black beans when you're low-carbing! I've used them to make chili and also black bean soup ... you canNOT tell the difference. Even my teenager likes them ... THAT tells 'ya something! Order with confidence, as these are TRULY quite good!
Only complaint is how VitaCost's shipping department just piled them all in a box with no packing or anything ... almost every can was REALLY dented and squashed!"
