"This lip product smells like a very strong chemical. I imagine it's the tree oil. But I couldn't tolerate it. Instead, try Desert essence Shea Butter . I very much enjoy the smell and taste."

"Works great! One of the few that doesn't leave a waxy build up. Scent is very tea tree-y but it goes away pretty quickly. Even my husband will use it."

"I drove public transportation for over 10 years and I ALWAYS had at least one tube of the lip rescue in my pocket. I found that it is an excellent healing agent for chapped lips, but also as an emergency "fix it"...... For scratches, for rough hands, for mosquito bites and many other small emergencies where you would not normally grab the first aid kit. Four or five tubes in my home is not unusual. :-)"

Great Price Great Value, August 23, 2008

"Desert Essence Lip Rescue Tea Tree Oil is cost efficient and keeps your mouth moist. Other chapsticks can try up on your lips or feel heavy, not this product; your lips will never crack again or feel dry ever. I have everyone in my family using this product."

"As an avid lip balm user with very dry lips, I found this balm to have an overly strong scent and to be overly greasy/waxy. It did not absorb into my lips well, if at all. I should have spent my money on something else. (As a reference point , I like Burt's Bees, Mary Kay Satin Lips and Aveeno Intensive Care lip balms)"
